Hot fun in the summertime!

I am from Long Island, but moved away at the age of 18. Really enjoyed this tour, as I saw more of the city that afternoon than in all the years I lived on L.I. Dianna was our tour guide, and she was fabulous! Informative, fun and friendly! The food was excellent- I would return to all the restaurants that we visited! I took my daughter on this tour, but I have lots of friends who want to go on the tour, also! I look foward to the next NYC adventure! It was a gorgeous day, also, so we walked around the city and saw South St. Seaport, World Trdae Center site, Little Italy,Chinatown and Times Square! Wonderful experience!

We really enjoyed the information and especially the food. We may know more about the area than the people who live there. would recommend this tour and the guide(Dianna) to anyone who might be considering a tour.

Even New Yorkers Have New Secrets to Discover

We enjoyed it immensely. Gave us some great ideas for restaurants and specialty food shops to re-visit in the future, plus we learned a lot about the history and culture of Greenwich Village and SoHo. Even though we lived in NYC for eleven years, there's always a lot more to discover. Our guide, Diana, did a terrific job. We intend to take all the other tours your company offers as soon as possible.

We enjoied this tour so much we went back to two of the dinning places for dinner the next night. It is nice to get a taste of food before spending a lot of money on a dinner that might be good. Our expectation was good food , which turned out to be great food. The added bonus was the wonderful history lesson we got along as well. The best way to learn about NYC.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour! We were on the tour with our grown son and his wife and the tour was one of the highlights of our weekend in New York. Diana was our tour guide and she was a delight. She was full of good humor and loads of information. She really knows her stuff about Greenwich Village. The food that we sampled was both varied and delicious - from ricotta cheese cake to homemade sausage and fresh mozarella cheese. The tour was done at a comfortable pace and we became acquainted with many restaurants that we would never have known about.

Absolutely Loved It!!

The tour was both informational and alot of food to sample. Our tour guide, Raheem was very personable and made it alot of fun. The variety of food was very interesting from falafel, homemade mozzarella, Cuban meat pies, ricotta cheesecake - a field day for your taste buds. Some stops were merely take out stands where you stood on the sidewalk to sample and other stops were restaurants with tables & chairs to sit and sample. We walked at a comfortable pace and Raheem showed us many landmarks from Cafe Wha where Jimi Hendrix got his start to the rowhouse Bob Dylan once owned. Bottled water was provided plus a hand out with the names and addresses of the places we stopped. There was a stop where you were able to purchase an alcoholic beverage. We liked it so much we went back that evening to enjoy an entire meal at a restaurant Raheem recommended plus to get a whole piece of cheesecake and not just a sample. Delicious!! Can't wait to go next year and do a food tour in another part of the city.

Raheem was a great guide. He was very informative on the history of the neighborhood, very pleasant to speak with, and gave us plenty of information on the foods we sampled. We will definitely do another tour.

We had taken Chelsea Market tour 3 years ago and thought it was great. On this tour we also got good information, but something was lacking that I just can't put my finger on. The food was very filling, in fact I was stuffed before the last two stops. The restauants were ones my husband and I would not have even considered, so we are glad we were exposed to the various ethnic foods.
