I have never been on a tour of this kind but I feel VERY confident I will never find a more enthusiastic, intelligent, and fun guide. I'd like him to take us around the whole city! When someone has a passion for their craft it is evident in their work and shines through in a way that enthralls those around them. I can't thank you enough. Mark

I took this tour with my 11 year old son and my 16 year old exchange student. We all loved it and thought it was the highlight of our visit to New York City. I wish we could have had the time and money to do all four tours. Our tour guide, Susan, was great. If I have one complaint, and it is minor, it was that we spent a lot of time in one restaurant where all we did was look at the restaurant and hear about the menu...without getting to do any tasting. It kind of felt like free advertising for the restaurant without a whole lot of benefit to us. But, as I said, that was a minor point and my son and exchange student didn't think it was a big deal...they were fine with the amount of time we spent there. I have already started recommending this tour to all my friends, coworkers and family...and hope to be able to come back to NYC to take the others. This is absolutely a must-do in New York!!!

We really enjoyed our tour. We have been wanting to do this for the past few years & were not disappointed! The tasting was great but the weather was hot! There is something for everyone, although everyone will not enjoy everything. I personally love that area of New York best & wanted to show my friend so it was a good way to find out more information & history of Soho & Greenwich, as well as experience some very different food. I told a travel agent friend of mine to suggest it to her customers who intend to visit New York. It would have been nice to have time to stop for a drink along the way (at our cost), especially in the summer. Our guide was great! Thanks for a great time.

This tour was much better than I expected--better food, more information about the area and the history, and just a lovely way to learn little-known facts about this section of NYC. I took my mother as a birthday gift, and she and I really enjoyed it. We happened to have a perfect fall day and the streets were crowded, which only added to the energy of NY.

Raheem was a great guide! Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the SoHo area and its restaurants. Two thumbs, a tart, and some other gourmet food up, way up!

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour and the food selections. Feel like it's a better tour for people who will be in NYC a bit longer than a couple of days so that you can go back to these places and enjoy them. Was a bit disappointed with the 'Soho' part of the tour which amounted to essentially one block of Soho. A great block with 3 good tastings, to be sure. But barely skimmed Soho. This should be called just the Central Village tour.

I found that we heard more about the history of the area than the history of the food. The food tastings were excellent, but there weren't many of them. I can't believe the sparse food offerings for the cost of the tour (3 hours). I was also disappointed that we spent almost an hour walking around a park. If that entire section had been cut out, the tour would have been far better.

| It was an interesting tour, and I will go back and try another one next time I visit NYC. It was very much a cultural learning experience, historic info with an up-close look at two of the neighborhoods in Manhatten.
I was a little disappointed in the food tasting, started out great and then tailed off at the end. I will recommend these tours to my friends though. |

I have been on 4 tours and would take one everytime I am in New York. They are very informative about the neighborhood and history of the area. Learning about the restaurants and trying the food is what it is all about! When you are in New York as a tourist you don't know about so many of the small and quaint restaurants in these areas and by taking one of these tours you discover many of the fabulous places to eat!

I have gone on two other tours in the recent past and enjoyed the Central Village/Soho tour the best. The guide was very informative and told us a little about the buildings and the area in general. The food that we sampled was very good, and it was nice that two of the places (Cuban & Italian) actually seated us for a tasting. I have already recommended this to a few of my friends.
