| This was a very enjoyable tour - nice pace - great food and an extremely friendly and knowlegeable guide. A true native of the village, Diane's love for the neighborhoods and the people is quite apparent and infectious. I would (and already have) reccommend this tour to family & friends. |

| I brought my 16-year-old niece with me. It was a great introduction to a great neighborhood, a place that is part of my own history, and one that I wanted to share with her. The tour gave more information than I could myself. And she could try foods that she might not try if asked to by Mom and Dad. Rashim was very knowledgable about the area, its features and history; about the restaurants, their strong points and specialties; about the food establishments and how they make their products. I was a little unsure if my niece would enjoy the afternoon, and I'm happy to report that she THOROUGHLY enjoyed herself. As did myself! This is not the first Foods of NY tour I've gone on and it certainly won't be my last. |

| It rained steadily for the entire 3.5-hour tour but our guide kept our interest and offered a strong distraction from the rain with his knowledge of the classic central West Village and its historic clubs, hotels, coffee shops and hangouts. We sampled eight types of food on welcome opportunities to go indoors, learning first-hand why the Village/Soho may be New York's most ethnically diverse neighborhood and why eating there is as much adventure as it is appetite arousal. The guide, incidentally, spoke to be heard above the street sounds, although he sometimes rattled off his stories a bit too speedily. |

| We really enjoyed the information and especially the food. We may know more about the area than the people who live there. would recommend this tour and the guide(Dianna) to anyone who might be considering a tour. |

| The tour was fine, it lasted a little too long perhaps because of the long trip round Washingon Square. The food was fine but could be more interesting. The first dish at the Indian restaurant was great but it was downhill from there (we left before the last too restaurants as we had another appointment. It was nearly four PM at the time). I would recommend this tour to friend. |

| This was our third tour.
The other Village tour had a lot more historic information while this tour combined history with more of visiting the area in the present. I can honestly say that both were equally enjoyable and very entertaining.
Learning about this part of the Village gave me some great ideas for return trips. The food was delicious, most of which I would not have tried on my own.
Growing up in New York and coming to the Village many times this was a totally new experience for me. I have moved out of the area but frequently visit NY and have not been in the village too often lately. This tour has provided me with a lot of great ideas for visits for myself and my husband as a weekend away, as well as visit with the kids.
Thanks for another great tour....we look forward to the new Culinary experiences!!! |

| Our tour group consisting of 12 had a terrific time....altho it was pouring so hard and throughout the entire 3 hours--- our socks and some of our shoes got soaking wet!! No one complained of the rainy situation --instead this was a positive and fun bunch of people. The food was an exciting, different, and a delicious experience. In June 2005 we took the Chelsea walking tour and loved it. We wholeheartedly recommend this to people who want an escorted adventure!!! |

| Thought it was weak on really exploring the food of the Central Village (only two stops in SoHo). The leader was charming and reasonably well informed, but for us who are not real big music enthusiasts there was much too much discussion of musicians and music venues, more on the literary and visual arts would have been somewhat more satisfying for us. We enjoyed the food samplings, but thought there was a bit too much advertising for those restaurants.
I would recommend this tour with reservations. It was strongly recommended to us by friends. |
