| We had a great time learning about both the history of the area and the lifestyle of the people that live there. We discovered some great new places to try out along with some options for entertainment we did not know much about. I would tell anyone it would be worth their while to take the tour. |

| The tour was both informational and alot of food to sample. Our tour guide, Raheem was very personable and made it alot of fun. The variety of food was very interesting from falafel, homemade mozzarella, Cuban meat pies, ricotta cheesecake - a field day for your taste buds. Some stops were merely take out stands where you stood on the sidewalk to sample and other stops were restaurants with tables & chairs to sit and sample. We walked at a comfortable pace and Raheem showed us many landmarks from Cafe Wha where Jimi Hendrix got his start to the rowhouse Bob Dylan once owned. Bottled water was provided plus a hand out with the names and addresses of the places we stopped. There was a stop where you were able to purchase an alcoholic beverage. We liked it so much we went back that evening to enjoy an entire meal at a restaurant Raheem recommended plus to get a whole piece of cheesecake and not just a sample. Delicious!! Can't wait to go next year and do a food tour in another part of the city. |

| Raheem was a great guide. He was very informative on the history of the neighborhood, very pleasant to speak with, and gave us plenty of information on the foods we sampled.
We will definitely do another tour. |

| Interesting history of the area...our guide was very informative...the food samples were mostly very satisfying, especially the Cuban restaurant....
A lot of standing for long periods of time, but the weather was pleasant which made the afternoon enjoyable. I would recommend this activity! |

| We had taken Chelsea Market tour 3 years ago and thought it was great. On this tour we also got good information, but something was lacking that I just can't put my finger on. The food was very filling, in fact I was stuffed before the last two stops. The restauants were ones my husband and I would not have even considered, so we are glad we were exposed to the various ethnic foods. |

| This tour was awesome! You get so much food for the amount you pay. You definately don't need lunch and probably not dinner. The tastings are much more substantial than a taste. Our tour guide Susan was outstanding. I could hear her over the hustle and bustle of New York. She knew so much about the area and history and did an incredible job. The restaurants we sampled were extremely diverse from Indian to Italian to Cuban it was a great mix. I brought my parents from upstate who got to try many different types of cuisines and really learn history of the area. Even being a New Yorker I can't wait to go back and try these restaurants over the next few months. I would highly recommend this to Local New Yorkers if you're looking to find nice little gems to eat and drink as well as people who aren't familiar with the city. I feel as a local New Yorker sometimes there are so many places to eat and drink and go out it becomes overwhelming to come up with new ideas. This was a great tour because now I have a new list of places and foods to try over the next couple of months!!!
Thank you so much!!!! |

| I learned so much more than I would have on my own. The tour guide was fabulous, and the food we sampled was really the best of the best. |

| I have lived in NYC for almost two years now but there is so much about the city I don't know. I had friends visiting me and decided to go on my second food tour (the other one was the awesome West Village tour). Raheem was such an excellant and knowledgable tour guide that I felt that I learned something more about NYC and discovered some great new places to try out. It's a fun and unique way to introduce some-one to NYC and give them an "insider" perspective that they won't get on an ordinary tour. I love the tours! |

| I've taken other food tours and loved them. I wasn't as impressed with this one. There was less food tasting on this tour and a lot more history and walking to places that were not food orientated. I did leave with a good understanding of the area. |

| I travel to NYC quite often and I must say this is by far one of the most fun experiences I've had there. I would highly recommend it to any tourist or even people that live in NYC. Perfect mix of food and history. |
