Central Village/SoHo Food & Culture Tour

Thoroughly enjoyed the Central/Soho food tour. Awesome samples and interesting guide. All stops were greatly enjoyed by our group (Mom and two teenage girls).

The tour was fun. You get to sample various ethnic foods.

Our guide was AWESOME!!!! We loved the food but LOVED hearing about the history of the buildings, restaurants and stores even more. There is always something to learn! We left the city that day knowing so much more than when we arrived. It was a fabulous afternoon with our family. I HIGHLY recommend the tour. We are thinking about going on another tour this fall!

Fabulous tour, highly reccomend it. The Greenwich/Soho tour took us through some great restaurant-lined streets and into far more than the advertised 6 eateries. Our tour guide delighted us with a mix of local knowledge about the place, its history, and virtually all the restaurants we passed. This company seems to take its research serious, we heard lots about our guide having gone for tasting dinners, just to make sure they include the best places on the tour: what a great job! Our only regret was to have left the tour to the end of our visit to New York, it would have been great if we could have gone back to some of the restaurants where we tasted food or others that were recommended. We were not surprised that half of our tour group were returning customers, we will return again too! It's a great tour for individuals, families and groups alike. Thanks for providing us with a One of the best tours we ever did!

This was my 3rd time on this exact same tour and I can honestly say it will not be my last. Susan was a delightful and entertaining tour guided that provided the perfect balance of personal, cultural and fun facts throughout the tour and kept the pace very comfortable for all! The food was outstanding...at least this time I learned to pace myself...there was not one place nor one tasting that I would not go back and do again!

Come with your appetite! Aside from a meager serving of bolognese sauce at Monte's (opt for the pesto instead), this tour offers exemplary food tasting opportunities and a very cool tour of this NYC neighborhood including a curbside peek at Anna Wintour's townhouse. Our tour guide, Susan, was phenomenal, her energy and enthusiasm for the area and its food highlights did not waiver despite temps in the 90s..

We enjoyed our guide and the tour was supposed to last 3 hours and it went about 3 1/2 hours. The tour guide was very informative and provided a very pleasent experience. She did not rush us and all of the food we tasted was wonderful. We weren't sure we were going to like the Indian food tasting and we came away really liking it. We live in NJ and had always talked about taking a tour like this - finally did it and we are now looking forward to our next tour.

This is the 2nd food tour I've taken, and it measured up to the excellence of the Greenwich Village tour I did two years ago. Our guide was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly, accommodating, as well as entertaining. The portion sizes of our food samples were more than ample--we were stuffed by the end of the tour! The food was delicious. Learning about the history of the area and the number of famous people who got their start here was interesting. Of all the sight-seeing and tours we took during our 5 day stay in NYC, this was our favorite activity!

My husband,son and I tremendiously enjoyed our tour. The food was great, but more importantly, the tour guide was terrific and showed knowledge of the surrounding environment and history. Not only would I recommend it,but look forward to going on it again either with family or friends.
