Our family took the tour of Soho & Greenwich Village with Rahim, and it was absolutely great! Lots on interesting history of the locale, shops & restaurants, met really nice people and had LOTS of food to try! We returned to several shops to take items home - such as the smoked mozzarella, italian sausages & fresh pasta. Worth every penny - highly recommended!

Would definitely reccomend to 1st time visitors. Our tour of Greenwich Village/SoHo included hisorical info of the buildings and area, impact of current events as well as food tastings. Well paced and definitely worth the money. Groups were small enough to be able to hear everything and ask questions if desired. Did return to one of the restaurants for an average dinner, but would try a different one on my next visit.

I took this tour with my 11 year old son and my 16 year old exchange student. We all loved it and thought it was the highlight of our visit to New York City. I wish we could have had the time and money to do all four tours. Our tour guide, Susan, was great. If I have one complaint, and it is minor, it was that we spent a lot of time in one restaurant where all we did was look at the restaurant and hear about the menu...without getting to do any tasting. It kind of felt like free advertising for the restaurant without a whole lot of benefit to us. But, as I said, that was a minor point and my son and exchange student didn't think it was a big deal...they were fine with the amount of time we spent there. I have already started recommending this tour to all my friends, coworkers and family...and hope to be able to come back to NYC to take the others. This is absolutely a must-do in New York!!!

I loved the experience of learning about the past and present of this part of the city with our terrific guide! This was my second "Food and Culture Tour" and I enjoyed the diversity of my tour mates. Sampling the fares of the area makes the walk even more memorable.

This one was just as enjoyable as the others, with an extremely knowledgeable and friendly guide. I love the history of the neighborhoods, more than the tastings actually, and would (have) recommended these tours to locals as well as tourists. More than well worth the time and price!!!

We recently took the Greenwich/Soho tour on a chilly Feb. afternoon and found it to be totally enjoyable. Our guide Rahim, was a great guy who provided us with great inforamtion about the area, the restaurants and eateries and made us feel like locals instead of tourists. We visited places we would never find if we went on our own, and it gave us insight into places to visit when we return to New York. We were able to sample many foods and wander through the streets into real neighbourhood haunts. My husband and I highly reccomend this tour to anyone coming to New York !
