| The food tastings where really good.
But our guide talked a bit too much so we was late on the route and had to rush some tastings and didn't get through the whole tour.
The heavy rain made some of the tour a very wet experiense. |

| Susan, the guide, is very prepared and explained a lot of real interesting things. The sites chosen for food tasting are a little bit too much of Italian, we think there is also else. |

| 1. I thought there was much too much talk and not enough tasting or information about the tastings. I thought the tour would be more foodie - ie assume people had quite a bit of interest in and knowledge about food.
2. My vegetarian Cuban option was really disgusting. It was fried (greasy and old stale oil) mashed potato (lumpy and undersalted) with what tasted like processed cheese in the middle. It left me with an unpleasant after taste and I still feel sick when I think about it..
3. I was shocked that our guide asked people to pay $10 for a cocktail in the cuban place, when they were clearly advertised on a board for $5 outside.....
4. I enjoyed the Mozeralla place (and it was interesting to go into a theatre and hear about the cultural life of the area). |

| My husband and I did the Chelsea/Meatpacking Tour while we were on our honeymoon in New York a couple of years ago and loved it. We returned to New York (our favourite place in the whole world!) last month and decided to try another Foods of NY tour, this time we took my Mum along with us as she travelled with us for a few days. All of us thought the tour was amazing...it is so great to learn about the history of New York, the food culture and of course experience the sights, sounds and flavours of the city with such a fabulous, knowledgable host. We will definitely do another tour next time we come back! Thank you so much Rahim (my apologies I'm sure I have your name wrong but hope someone works it out so our thanks and rave review reaches you!) Cath & Simon Beckett and Teri Andrew :o) |

| A great opportunity to see things you've never found by yourself. It was a surprice for my husband and he was delighted. The guide was very good and seemed to know everthing in the area. We had history, culture, architecture, gossip and delicious food. We're definitely gonna take another tour the next time we're in New York. Thank you! / Monika from Stockholm-Sweden |

| This was my third tour with Foods of New York. I would have to say that this tour out of the three would not be the one I would recommend for people looking to choose. The other two (Original Greenwich Village and Chelsea Market/Meatpacking District) seemed to cover more interesting areas and had more variety/food tastings. The area is lovely to walk around but you could get the same feel walking yourself. The group dynamic may have contributed to this review - a considerable number of older people that slowed the walking down (a lot of waiting and catching up). We got the feeling that the tour guide was a bit frustrated! |

| We had never been on a walking tour before and so were both a little anxious... but what a treat was in store. Our guide, Diana, was full of information about the history and culture of Greenwich and SoHo. She was a great story teller - lots of interesting detail and plenty of enthusiasm and passion for NYC. We particularly appreciated her impersonations of characters as she delivered dialogues when we paused at street scenes / buildings used as sets in great movies. As visitors from the UK we were particular pleased to be in a party of women from the USA and had informal conversations with them over the food tastings when they offered valuable recommendations of what else to see / where else to go. We are looking forward to our next trip to NYC and will certainly book up for another walking tour then. Cannot recommend highly enough. Lynn & Shirley. |

| I really enjoyed the tour - I found our guide to be knowledgeable and entertaining.
We paid for a normal 'walking tour' the day before which covered some of the same ground - I was a little worried that we would hear all the same stuff twice - but I actually think that this food tour was a lot better - at nearly half the price! Not to mention the fact that the tour also counted as 'lunch' - I enjoyed everything I tasted.
Great value for money. Very entertaining. I would do this again over a normal walking tour any day! |

| Raheem spoke clearly and gave us lots of information and history of the area. He made sure everyone was taken care of. One of our group is a vegetarian and she was able to experience wonderful and varied cuisine just like everyone else. In fact he took particular care to ensure she was well catered for. He added many interesting tips for eating well at a reasonable price as well as some shopping tips too. We all had a great time. Thank you Raheem. |
