This is a very long tour - almost 3 1/2 hours. But well worth it. Barri was so knowledgable about the area of Central Village and SoHo. Her historical/cultural descriptions coupled with her great insights on the food, drink, and entertainment places around that area were great. We will try another tour next time we are in NYC! |

I am a tour guide in Washington DC and would highly recommend this tour.
It includes lots of history and great food. An excellent way to spend an afternoon in NYC. |

Raheem, you did a very good job. We enjoyed the tour and the food very much. You picked a good variety of delacacies and myself being a hearty eater, I had plenty. I grew up in Queens and went to the Village quite a bit. I have now lived in Florida for 30 years and going back to the city, you showed me things I wish I knew about back then.
Thanks.

I had been on the Greenwich food tour several years ago, and enjoyed it immensely with my 22 year old daughter. This time, took the Greenwich SoHO tour with my husband, and 80 year old mother. We all LOVED the tour. I always get lost in Greenwich (but that's part of the charm), but it was delightful having a guide to point out historical and food venues. I now have many restaurants on my "to do" list for the future. I HIGHLY recommend any of the food tours for first time visitors, repeat visitors, and for locals (my daughter has been in Manhattan for 3 years, and she was upset that she wasn't able to join us on this tour!) |

The Village/SOHO food tour was terrific. Our tour guide, Barri, was very knowledgable and informative. We sampled interesting ethnic foods, while enjoying the sights and history of the Village. The tour gave us a great overview of the area, enticing us for return visits. |

We truly enjoyed our tour with Barri. She knew the history of the area and you could tell she really appreciated it. She also peppered the tour with bits of trivia and interest from today. It was like going to class, getting great exercise and having an 8 course meal, all in three hours! |

what made this tour so great was our guide, sat 12:30...todd maybe was his name?
he was a true performer, fun, aware of his group and their various needs and questions.
he seems to love what he does which made all the difference.
i am from NY and live here now, but brought a friend from out of town for a "new york" experience, and we got one. new appreciation for the village and soho and all the secret nooks and crannies.
already ate at a recommended place.
Thank you, it was BRILLIANT!

Bari was our guide and she was very knowledgeable not only about the food but about the area, family businesses, etc. Can hardly wait to go back and enjoy the village and stay for a meal or two. Larry & I are a couple of seniors and found the walk very easy, 3 hours seems like a long time but it just flew by, in fact we went a little longer. No lunch was needed when we completed the tour. A most enjoyable experience. Look forward to the next time:
