| Even having to trudge through the slushy snow, it was informative and our guide
Rahim ( sorry about the spelling} was so enthusiastic. Had we been in NY longer we would definately have booked one of the other tours, so will recommend your company to any future visitors.
Thanks again. |

| As my guide stated, I was completing the "trifecta" of the Foods of NY Tours with this one. Having done the Chelsea Market and the Greenwich Village ones, I had very high expectations for the Central Village/SoHo tour and it did not disappoint. Rahim, our guide, was exceptional. Very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the area and the foods he was introducing us to. This, I have noticed, is a common thread amongst all FofNY tour guides. The day of our tour, it was FREEZING cold and the snow/icy rain was coming down hard the entire time and Rahim made sure that we were all comfortable at all times...he even took us inside a food establishment just for some coffee and to "warm up." I must say, though, that I was expecting a little more from the architectural perspective of SoHo during the tour and I wonder if had the weather conditions been a little different, if that's typically part of it. But regardless, it was a great time, and just like the other tours, I highly recommend this one to anyone who wants to REALLY learn about New York City. |

| Our tour started with meeting Rahim. He was very informative and pleasant. The different type of foods we tasted were all great and definitely filled us so we didn't need to get lunch. The quaint restaurants that we were taken into were very unique and seeing the apartment buildings with their fire escapes all reminded me of when I was growing up in the West End of Boston which is no longer there. Of course the prices for rent certainly weren't the same as when I lived in Boston.
I liked how we were only a group of 8 - it made it easier to ask questions, etc. The directions given to me were pretty much right on and the man at the place we started our tour was also very nice. I know when we return next year for our "8th" annual weekend in New York City, we definitely will return to SoHo and have dinner at one of the restaurants that Rahim pointed out to us.
We also did the Chelsea Market tour last year and LOVED Kurt as well. |

| We thoroughly enjoyed our food tour of the village and soho. The food was delicious, and our guide was fun and very knowledgable. I enjoyed the smaller group of people on the tour (8), compared with the 16 people on a previous tour. Overall, excellent! I would definitely recommend to a friend, and I hope to partake in others in the future. |

| Our guide Rahim was a delight, pleasant & very knowledgeable. He had an excellent rapport with all of the group & with all the establishments that we visited. The variety of tastings was excellent spanning a number of different cultures. His knowledge of the areas that we visited was also presented very well. Highly recommend the tour. |

| What fun, history, culture and food. It does not get better and I look forward to taking more of these. Please have one for each section of the city.
It was worth every penny. |

| My parents & I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide Rashim was fantastic, he is passionate about food and knows the area very well. He combines lots of curious historical facts with interesting restaurants & stores with tastings that range from typical indian street food & a bizarre store dedicated to peanut butter to witnessing the artisanal process of hand making mozarrella cheese & jamaican pasties.
At the end of the tour we had tasted about 8 or 9 different things which added up to a very hearty lunch. |

| Our guide, barry, was upbeat, knowledgeable and interesting.
we appreciated hearing about the different venues and their histories.
the foods we sampled were tasty and in some cases flippling amazing!
fun facts, like how off-off-broadway, off-broadway and broadway differ--punctuated the dialogue!
we saw where dylan first performed, where allen ginsberg lived when he attended columbia, where joey (of friends) claimed to be his favorit eplace and tons more.
it was a cold day, and i ended up buying a hat, which made all the difference.
in fact, the only suggestion i'd make is that if it's cold out, and if there's a sunny area to stop at two feet away from a shadier area, the guide might consider that.
during the summer, the same would hold in the reverse.
all in all, if you're looking for a way to better appreciate this area of the city, take this tour.
we were visiting from out of town, but we had a local with us, and she will tap into some of the tour's highlights again and again.
we will revisit this area when we come to town again.

| Thought that there could have been more of the foods than the culture and history. we did your Chelsea tour a month prior and thought that was better, great! I think less places with more of a focus. Although we had a great time! |
