Susan took us to some interesting places. She was very knowledgeable about the food, the menus, the restaurants and the history of the area. Thank you for a fun time.

Exceeded our expectations

We did not know what to expect on this food tour - having done nothing like it before .... we went into it with some trepidation. But the whole tour, the information, the style, the enthusiasm (to name but a few) made it a great experience. We had been to NYC before but, now feel like we really know a small corner in a hell of a lot of detail and can recommend to our British friends who come to visit your city. Great Stuff!!

Raheem was great. He tooks us to some very unique eateries. He also was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. The combination made for a great tour.

Great way to spend an afternoon

This is a great way to spend an afternoon away from the tourist traps of Manhattan and find out about the real NY from a New Yorker's point of view. Our guide Rahim was superb and whilst we weren't familiar with all the cultural references being from the UK we did know where he was coming from most of the time. The food was excellent going into places we probably wouldn't normally do just by the look of the outside. We went back to Montes for our final dinner (thanks for the recommendation) and also to some of the great places we went to on the original tour a few years ago - glad to see they are still going strong - John's Pizza and Rocco's particularly.

Not to be missed!

It rained during our entire walking tour, but the rain did not take much away from the wonderful experience we had. We are a little familiar with the area, or so we thought .... Our guide Rahim was perfect. He knew so much about the area and talked about it with a lot of knowledge and I would say passion. A great sence of humour, too. Everything we tried was so tasty. There was a lot of variety and EVERYTHING was delicious. We ended up retracking our steps and visiting a couple of places after the tour and sampling their food (wonderful tarts and some more of the amazing sausage, which came back home with us). We have made a note of a few places for our future visits ... You think you know the area and then you go on a tour like this .....

This was a great thing to do in NYC. Our guide was excellent--very knowledgeable and personable. We went to various restaurants and a couple of shops. The food we had was delicious. The tour was 3 hours, and the pace was just right. I was pleased with the information the guide gave about the area (history and miscellaneous info). We were introduced to restaurants and shops we might otherwise have passed by. I highly recommend this tour (Greenwich Village/SoHo).

A group of friend went on the Greenwich Village tour last year and this year we took the Central Village/SoHo tour. It did not disappoint. Rahim, our guide was excellent and was flowing with fun facts of the area with great suggestions about everything from music to food. He made the experience so delightful, I hardly noticed the pouring rain. I can't wait to do another food tour on my next trip to NYC.

Great food and great information

This is the second year in a row that I have brought my parents on one of your food tours. Last year we did the classic village tour around Bleecker St. and this year we did the Central village and Soho tour. Both were excellent and both guides were really top notch. I work at NYU so I know quite a bit about the restaurants around here, but I learned a lot of interesting new information and new restaurants that I will go back to on both tours. It's a huge hit with my parents as well and we will probably do the Chealse tour next year. Keep up the good work and keep hiring excellent guides!

History and tour about the streets and neighborhood were equally, if not more interesting than the food.

the food was great and the visual aid provided for introducing the history and culture of the area was a nice touch.
