| Our guide, Rahim, was very knowledgeable about the central village and SOHO. We enjoyed his observations and recommendations. It was a great way to learn about the history of the village as well as the various comedy and music venues. We would love to také another tour in the near future. |

| My friend and I signed up for this tour to hear about the area and try new food. While the area details were entertaining and decriptive - this tour is all about the fantastic food. We loved the variety and the fact that we got to try foods we would never know to order. Plus got a list of restaurants to go back and try on later visits. This tour was fantastic and our tour guide (Rasheem sp?) was personable, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and excited for us as we tasted our way around the area.
Highlights for me - Indian & Cuban tastings and watching mozzarella being made at Joe's Dairy. Wow!
This is a great way to spend an afternoon. |

| I recently did the Greenwich/SoHo tour led by Susan. She was terrific! A native New Yorker, she is passionate about her city and its many fabulous foodie finds. She did a great job describing in fascinating detail the history and present state of the Village food scene. The restaurants and cafes on the itinerary were all superb - it was nearly overwhelming. The food was delicious and each place was thoughtfully chosen for its historical and cultural significance to the neighborhood.
Susan was also great at ensuring that everyone's needs were met throughout the tour and that we were enjoying ourselves. Overall, she was a great group facilitator and tour guide.
At the conclusion of the tour I felt like I had gained such an inside perspective into the Village far beyond just the food scene. It was hard to believe that I saw and learned so much in only three hours. I felt like a local by the end of it. This was an amazing way to become closely familiar with one of NYC's incredible neighborhoods. I will definitely check out a different tour on my next trip. Keep up the super work! |

| This was the second tour we took with Foods of NY, the first being the original Greenwich Village tour a few years ago. We enjoyed that one so much, we decided to go back for a "second helping," this time bringing an out-of-town guest. We all had a great time. Our guide, Susan, was friendly, informative and thoroughly professional. The tour runs like a Swiss watch, so precise that you have to stop and think about how much planning and organizing must go into it, to have each and every restaurant or shop prepared to greet and serve the group as soon as we arrive.
We are lifelong New Yorkers and my husband went to school at NYU, so we are no strangers to Greenwich Village, but New York is definitely a "work in progress" that can and should be visited with frequency. The food was varied, interesting, and of uniformly good quality. The Greenwich Village sights, from Washington Square Park to SoHo a real slice of New York. We even got to witness the finales of two different weddings - a little "extra" no one expected!
There are a lot of walking tours out there, but only one with FOOD; no contest! |

| This is the second year in a row that I have brought my parents on one of your food tours. Last year we did the classic village tour around Bleecker St. and this year we did the Central village and Soho tour. Both were excellent and both guides were really top notch. I work at NYU so I know quite a bit about the restaurants around here, but I learned a lot of interesting new information and new restaurants that I will go back to on both tours. It's a huge hit with my parents as well and we will probably do the Chealse tour next year. Keep up the good work and keep hiring excellent guides! |

| This was a great thing to do in NYC. Our guide was excellent--very knowledgeable and personable. We went to various restaurants and a couple of shops. The food we had was delicious. The tour was 3 hours, and the pace was just right. I was pleased with the information the guide gave about the area (history and miscellaneous info). We were introduced to restaurants and shops we might otherwise have passed by.
I highly recommend this tour (Greenwich Village/SoHo). |

| The food tours offer a wonderful way for out-of-towners to see parts of NYC we might not other wise ever get to. Restaurants visited are all great. We did go to one of them for dinner later in our visit and plan to return to others on future visits to NYC. |
