Central Village/SoHo Food & Culture Tour

My 3 sisters and I went on the Village/Soho tour on the 12md tour on the 13th March. it was a great way to see the real New York, enjoy lunch and also find some great eateries. Our tour guide Rahim was great fun and very informative. We're only sorry we didn't book another of the tours and will definitely do so when we go back again.

If you like trying different ethnic foods and enjoy walking for several hours while learning the culture of Soho, then this is for you!

I've lived in NYC for 4 years and I still learned a thing or two on this tour. Made a great birthday gift. Put on good walking shoes -- much of the tour involves eating samples outside of the restaurant and then walking around the neighborhood to hear some more historical anecdotes. I was definitely full by the third restaurant and I started with an empty stomach! Definitely arrive hungry. The cost is more than worth it for all the food and stories.

Enjoyed the tour very much. Learned so many new things about the area that I can go back and enjoy even more.

My two grown daughters and I loved the walking food tour through the Central Village/SoHo districts with our guide, Diana. Diana was wonderful as she was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and just plain fun. We liked being with someone who is actually from New York, clearly loves it, and is able to impart what the city has to offer. The food tastings were fabulous! We really enjoyed ourselves in spite of the fact that the afternoon seemed to get colder and colder. Thank you so much for adding so much flavor and local color to our week in New York.

Raheem, the tour guide, was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge of the culinary cuisine and history of SoHo/Village restaurants. Were able to make about 7 stops with a variety of foods and cultures, without being rushed. Best part of all, I was able to purchase a wool hat made in Tibet(very cold that day) while putting down hickory smoked mozzarella and a handful of homemade sausage!

What a fantastic way to look around an area by visiting the cuisines that make up the local culture. Our guide was knowledgeable on the area, humorous and generally a great host. Would most definitely go on one of their tours again.

After taking the Central Greenwich Village tour with Susan, I feel like a local. Besides the wonderful food at the stops, I garnered so much history of the area from Susan. After pointing out which building where the apartment that our group of four was staying in, Susan told us the history of that building also. The food was delicious and plentiful. We were too full for dinner that night. A++++++

would highly recommend this and we will be back to go again!! Only challenge was the cold and wind... but our guide tried to get us inside as much as possible.

This food tour was a blast and a great value.. Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The food was so good and the venues were diverse. There is a lot of food and you won't go hungry. Our guide even handled an unhappy neighbor with professionalism. I recommend that anyone with an interest in learning about NYC neighborhoods and other cuisines sign up for this tour.
