| This tour was one of the highlights of our week-long visit to NYC. Our guide Rahim was very personable, knowledgeable and enthusiastic (with that NYC edge of course) This was the 3rd tour we have taken with Foods of New York over 2 visits and we found Rahim to be the best guide so far (although Kurt on the Chelsea Market tour was pretty good too) As far as the food was concerned we especially liked the food from Peanut Butter & Co., Pino's Meats and Grandaisy |

| The tour guide was great and the food was even better. It's worth while to go on these tours because you get to know more of the area than just going through it yourself. It's a three hours well spent. I think it's even better than the more touristy places like times square. There were a lot of family owned restaurants that serve a lot of good quality food. I would recommend this to anyone who loves to eat and who loves to explore new places. |

| Our group all really enjoyed this tour. Recommended as a great way to get to know an area, make new friends and taste some local delicacies. Our tour guide was enthusiastic, entertaining and knew his subject. Indeed, we all loved Greenwich so much by the end of the tour it will be our No.1 place to stay when we next visit NYC. |

| The food was very good and it was fun to try new flavours. The tour guide was pleasant and well informed and presented thoughts on the area nicely.
The group size (I believe it was 15) was in our opinion too large. A smaller group closer to 10 would be easier to manouever around the city and the restaurants. |

| I live here but my sister was visiting me .. and this was her very first trip to US and New York. This tour put her on the top -- not only did we have fun tasting different things, but also the history of the Village - the many interesting people who have frequented these stores, restaurants -- the little gems along the way... :) She of course loved it. I was hoping to get a fun time but I guess even a ntive has much to learn... I would recommend this for one and all.
Diana - you are a considerate, patient guide. |

| This is a great way to spend an afternoon away from the tourist traps of Manhattan and find out about the real NY from a New Yorker's point of view.
Our guide Rahim was superb and whilst we weren't familiar with all the cultural references being from the UK we did know where he was coming from most of the time.
The food was excellent going into places we probably wouldn't normally do just by the look of the outside. We went back to Montes for our final dinner (thanks for the recommendation) and also to some of the great places we went to on the original tour a few years ago - glad to see they are still going strong - John's Pizza and Rocco's particularly. |

| More historical information provided than expected. Great variety of great food, with an interesting combination of styles. Lots of local background stories.
Staff at Cafe del Mare (starting point) fairly uninterested in selling drinks before the tour.
To whom it concerns : expect a lot of Carbohydrates ! |

| Fresh mozzarella (half an hour old!); Delicious Greek yogurt ; gnocchi by a gourmet chef -- all of these and more in a few hours of a pleasant walk around Greenwich. Lots of information delivered by our tour guide Rahine - he's quite into food and gave more information on the preparation of food than I personally required. He also gave great tips on jazz clubs in the area, local and personal history, details about each restaurant mentioned. I'm sorry we weren't able to make good use of that information as we didn't have any other time in Greenwich other than the tour itself. I'd highly recommend using the tour as a starting point for your Greenwich visit and then eating at the great restaurants, getting to the great clubs and enjoying Washington Square when it's not under construction! |
