| My husband and I enjoyed this tour very much, tasting a wide variety of foods from Italy, Cuba and other ethnic backgrounds. Our guide, Susan was very informative in taking us around the area and explaining the history of those certain points of the city. I would highly recommend this tour and will certainly go back to some of the restaurants where we tasted the food. |

| Susan was our tour guide and she was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable of the area and the food. This was our third tour with Foods of New York. We would highly recommend any of the Greenwich Village and/or Soho tours. |

| This is my fourth food/walking tour with the company. When I visit New York, I leave no stone unturned; in other words, I see and do a lot. Each time I visit, the food/walking tours are the highlight of my trip. Our guide, as always, was charming, knowledgeable, funny, gracious, and friendly. |

| The tour is a great change of pace from the usual suspects while entertaining guests visiting NYC. The food tasting was very good. The local shops are terrific-you will want to return to shop for provisions at each of them. Our guide was well informed about the history of the village and interesting in her presentation. |

| Went on this tour with my mother when we spent a weekend in New York City recently. It was fantastic, the tour guide was awesome and really knowledgeable. There was no way we would have found out about all of the places they showed us if we had not gone on the tour. Would highly recommend, cannot wait to go back and go on another tour! |

| I would have liked to eat at more then 5 places. A friend went on the tour and recommended it to me. They ate at 16 places. That was more what I was expecting. Our tour guide was very interesting. |

Couple on a Date |
| im a local new yorker and took my boyfriend on this tour as a goodbye gift (moving to miami) and a way to do a few touristy things he'd never gotten the chance to do while living here. we both loved it. our guide was very friendly and informative. really interesting details about a neighborhood i thought i knew pretty well. the food was diverse and delicious and almost too much for us to finish (almost!).
the only thing i would change is maybe to include the option of getting a drink at the cuban place in the price or possibly discount the drink given that essentially the whole tour is supposed to be covered by your one time fee.
other than that, it was a great experience, i've already recommended it to several friends and family members. |

| We've been on the East Village Tour and the Meatpacking/Chelsea Tour so we knew we'd enjoy this tour as well and indeed we did! Raheem, our guide, was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and very attentive to the needs of the group. He gets an A+! A few of the food choices did not live up to the quality of the other tours, specifically the Indian food. The fresh, smoked mozzerella, sun dried tomatoes and Italian sausage were excellent as was the pear tart. Our mouths are still watering! The next time we're in New York City we plan to go on the Chinatown tour. Several of the people on our tour were raving about that one too! I would recommend all the Foods of NY Tours I've been on. You learn interesting historical facts, eat great food and get some exercise to boot. It's a win/win experience!! |
