| Since it was raining, it would be hard to judge this tour. I felt like the leader was not in great command of the information. There were 7 tastings which was less than our last tour. It was fun, but not nearly as fun as our last tour of the Village. |

| 1. I thought there was much too much talk and not enough tasting or information about the tastings. I thought the tour would be more foodie - ie assume people had quite a bit of interest in and knowledge about food.
2. My vegetarian Cuban option was really disgusting. It was fried (greasy and old stale oil) mashed potato (lumpy and undersalted) with what tasted like processed cheese in the middle. It left me with an unpleasant after taste and I still feel sick when I think about it..
3. I was shocked that our guide asked people to pay $10 for a cocktail in the cuban place, when they were clearly advertised on a board for $5 outside.....
4. I enjoyed the Mozeralla place (and it was interesting to go into a theatre and hear about the cultural life of the area). |

| I took my 21 year old niece on this tour as part of her birthday weekend in the city. We had a great time. In addition to the incredible foods we tasted, we gained an appreciation for the history of the village. Our tour guide, Susan, was very friendly and knowledgeable. I have been recommending this tour to all my co-workers and plan to bring my mother back in the fall for her birthday. |

| We have taken the other food tours by this company (Chelsea & Greenwich Village) and there seemed to have been more food. This tour was less food and more talk.
The tour guide, Raheem, was very informative and funny and we did enjoy ourselves, but we enjoyed the other two food tours more. |

| We had done an similar tour in Chicago so we knew what to expect and had something to compare with. The Central Village/Soho tour had wonderful food, and a great guide, and we enjoyed everything that we ate and all the local information. We come to New York every couple of years, so we look forward to taking another tour the next time we're in town. |

| Rahim (SP) was a GREAT tour guide and every aspect of the tour was FABULOUS! I called my friends back home as soon as we were done to recommend this for us next year. Really informative and well done. Food was very good and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Will do one every time I come to any city that offers them. LOVED IT! |

| Our group of 4 enjoyed this even more than we thought we would. Anyone who loves food and loves or wants to get to know New York would find this a terrific way to spend an afternoon. The food was all excellent, and we felt like we were being let in on the secrets of special places to dine and entertain ourselves in Greenwich Village. Having lived in and spent most of my twenties in the Village during the 70's, I found it to bring back wonderful memories and to introduce me to a lot of the history and behind-the-scenes activity that I never knew had gone on. Our guide, Raheem, made this even more special as he was so knowledgeable about the history of the area as well as about the food -- it's cultural significance and how it is made. His presentation was excellent - funny, smart and charming - and the entire group seemed quite pleased that we went overtime despite walking for over 3 hours on a quite warm day. The choices for our food stops were all excellent. We loved not only the restuarants but the small shops we stopped in, and we did return a few days later to have lunch at one place and buy some pasta, sausage and dessert from several of the shops we were in. I would recommend this tour to anyone -- native New Yorkers as well as visiting tourists -- and in fact have already told several friends about it. It is well worth the money -- a bargain, in fact. Thanks to Raheem for a wonderful New York experience. |
