| Our guide(s) were well informed. They were not unfriendly, but could have been friendlier, such as inquiring about where participants were from and generally seeming more interested in them. Also, when planning August walks, stop at larger businesses so participants can go in to get the food, rather than having the guide(s) go in to get it. It was extremely hot the day of our walk and we did not get out of the heat nearly enough. We had some good sandwich-type foodsl, but the rest was mediocre. Our guide was overheard complaining to her trainee about people lagging behind etc. If I had heard that, she would not have gotten a tip. I know each walk is different with other guides and different food, so I will keep an open mind. I am going on another walk in a couple weeks. |

| This is the third tour we've done with Food Tours of New York and it, like the other two, is a truly great way to become acquainted with a neighbourhood in New York. Bari, our guide, was well informed and well organized. She handled the stresses of a very hot day in New York with aplomb. We loved the food and found that the variety and the quantity was just right. It's wonderful to know that small businesses, like those we were introduced to, still exist in the city. May they always do. |

| We loved our guide, Raheen, who was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about our tour of Greenwich and Soho.
The food we tasted was interesting and varied - from Indian to Middle Eastern, amazing cheeses and a terrific pasta shop. We have passed on the tour details to friends who live in New York and recommend they take part - they will learn a lot of about the village, its history, architecture and the people (famous or infamous) who have lived there.
The list we were given was helpful, with full description and address, phone numbers etc - we later went back and had dinner at one of the restaurants (twice) and a drink at one of the small cafes.
A great start to our stay in New York

| The guide was very knowledgable of the area. As I am a semi-local (from Long Island) I will be back to try a few of the restaurants that we visited. |

We loved the food and the insight was priceless.

| It was great to get the history of the area and the people who make the food. The guide,Berry. was great and had a ture knowledge and love of the area .She relayed how the neighberhood worked together to create an enviroemnt where you would like to live and keep values of the past. Teenagers would not like this tour as much as adults would.

| A great way to learn about New York and happily eat our way through the process.
I think the only constructive criticism I would make would have been to try to order the tasting from"soup to nuts"-i.e. start with the appetizer type foods and end on a sweet. We started ith Indian egg roll type food, had several other noshes and ended with delicious pizza-it was just too much-perhaps a sweet from the same bakery would have been better.
I have recommended this to many friends-kind of an insider's way to get to know the city.

| Tour was great! I think out of the three tours (West Village and Chelsea) it was my favorite. Food was wonderful and lots of great history and just plain fun...had two 18 year olds with me and they liked it as well.
Hope to see more tours on the schedule in the future. See you soon! |

| What a great tour!!! Raheem was very knowledgable as well as entertaining and enthusiastic. The tour of the Central Village/SoHo took us to many restaurants as well as one of a kind food stores. The food tastes were large and plentiful as well as varied. Even as a vegetarian, I was able to sample from every place but one, and an alternative was provided for me. The food was delicious. The information about the Village convinced me to return the next evening for dinner at one of the recommended restaurants. The food was delicious and exactly as Raheem described it. I look forward to visiting NYC again and taking another food tour. Thanks Raheem for making my visit exceptional and thanks to all the participating restaurants and stores. You provided good ole Southern hospitality to a girl from Kentucky. |

It includes lots of history and great food. An excellent way to spend an afternoon in NYC. |
