| I had went on the original Greenwich tour on a previous NY visit and had my eye on this tour. Was a bit hesitant after reading old comments but when I went back to the website closer to our departure date, I noticed they made more improvements on this tour, based upon feedback, and booked this right away.
I was travelling with my sister and sister-in-laws and we all loved this tour.
Portions were large and the food was great.
We had a great variety from the Indian wrap, pasta, ricotta cheesecake (mmmmm), empanadas, tortellini, smoked mozarella, black pepper sausage and the walnut tarte.
Susan kept us at a good pace and entertained us with her knowledge of the Village.
I was glad she mentioned Peanut Butter & Company; even though the tour does not go there anymore, it is a funky place so typical of NY that it can have a whole restaurant themed around one food item.
I really want to try the dim sum tour next visit. How about having a Harlem soul food tour? |

| What a great experience my husband and I had on this tour! Everything about it was enjoyable. We learned so much, ate a perfect amount, and walked a great deal. Keep in mind that all the food is eaten while standing, so don't expect a steak dinner or a buffet line. Plus, not every place you go into will be a "food" stop -sometimes it's just good enough to smell the scents or see the inside to plan future visits. Just when we thought the tour was coming to an end, more food came our way. We learned lots of history about the area and our guide was so pleasant. We would recommend this tour to anyone that doesn't mind eating on the run, is okay with walking, and likes to try new things! |

| The tour was great but it is a little long--I thought the tour guide should have kept us moving a little quicker. I know she didn't want to seem to rush us but towards the end we were tired and it would have been better if she had just hurried us along the whole time to get everything in 3 hours or less.... |

| As frequent visitors on short trips to NYC we can't believe we haven't tried this tour before. Although we have touched on these areas in broader past tours, we could have wandered on our own for days without finding all of the wonderful little gems that Barri introduced us to. All of the snacks were fabulous and unusual and she gave us dozens of tips and insights (shopping, comedy clubs, live music and theatre) for future trips to the area to make our time spent there so much more enjoyable. We immediately retraced our steps after the tour to visit some stops not on the tour that she gave us info about . We are already planning a day or two worth of activities in the area to investigate further on our next NYC adventure and our husbands will be wanting to take this tour too . Thank goodness for the informative handout Barri gave us, it's already filled with margin notes from her expertise. Can't wait to try the other food tours. This was a great activity for 2 friends, but would have been enjoyable as a solo or family too...even without perfect weather, we had a great group that was just the right size to enjoy our well paced tour together. Thanks Barri! L&T-Ontario,Canada |

| Good food in a variety of places, although it would have been nice to actually eat something in more of the places we visited. Our tour guide was nice and knowledgeable, but at some points I wanted the tour to be geared more towards locals than tourists. |

| I highly recommend this tour as you will get to know the neighborhood alot better and actually know where to eat that isn't a tourist trap. I went back to at least two restaurants from the tour and had a full meal which was great. There is quite a bit of walking on the tour but anyone travelling in New York City realizes that you walk alot no matter what but they even provide you with a bottle of water. Our tour guide went to NYU and so you really get a 'feel' of his passion for this area of New York. Any 'foodie' would be crazy not to want to go on this tour. The best place had to be Monte's. The chef is amazing, and very approachable and humble. I would go on this tour again and again and even try the other tours that they have listed. I cannot recommend this place enough! Truly great!! |

| Your tour was wonderful. It was recommended to me by a New York native as a great thing to do when my mother and sister-in-law came to NY for a short holiday. We had a great time. I loved that the food was affordable, the guide knowledgable and that the information she provided was about many topics. We had a blast. |
