| This was my first visit to Central Village/SoHo and I was impressed with our walking tour guide who highlighted the best of Central Village/SoHo in a short amount of time. The wide variety of food tasting was great and the history behind this small part of Manhattan was very educational. I can't wait to return to the village to try these fabulous restaurants. My only advice is to wear good walking shoes and come hungry. |

| We had a group of 4 adults and 2 children (ages 7 & 11). We booked the tour to become more acquianted with Soho & Greenwich Village. We enjoyed tasting different cuisine and listening to the tour guide's antedoctes of the area. However, we regretted that the kids were exposed to some things they shouldn't have heard or seen. This tour might be better suited for adults only. |

| I have been on 2 other tours with Foods of NY (one multiple times) and thought that this tour was also good, but not as good as the others offered. It could have been much shorter than it was as it seemed to drag at times, and we in fact went over the allotted time. But the food choices were all good and again, lots of information. |

| Our Village food tour with "Rav" (?) was so much more than I had anticipated. He was well informed and made the Village and its many shops come alive. We not only visited interesting and amazingly tasty ethnic food shops but learned so much history of the Village itself. I guess the highlight for me was the cheese shop where we tasted fresh hickory smoked mozzarella. I would recommend this tour for anyone who enjoys eating - including New Yorkers! Looking forward to our next trip to NYC and another tour! |

| This tour was fantastic!
Our guide, Susan, was extremely knowledgeable and articulate. She was so comfortable guiding the group that she led us confidently and easily through the area. At the beginning she learned our names and by the end even knew things about each person on the tour, including food preferences.
The foods sampled were varied and representative of the wide variety in the Village--from modern peanut butter menu to traditional Italian cheese-making. Several of us were not even hungry at suppertime because the portions were very generous.
Two of our family members have lived or live now in NYC, even close enough to walk to the tour. Even for them the information and the sites that we visited were new and taught them a lot about the area.
I will definitely plan to do one of your other food tours when I am in NYC again! |

| We've been to the Village and SoHo many times, but always wander around not knowing where to go or what to do. This tour eliminates all of that. Wear comfy shoes because it's a 3+ hour tour, but with great insight from a true insider. Our guide (I think his name was Rahim) had a great personality. His only quirk was prefacing every sentence with "The thing is, guys..." But aside from that, he had a nice manner and had some good tips. The food was awesome and especially worthwhile was the restaurant list given to everyone on the tour. If you're going to NYC and want to visit the village and SoHo, invest in this tour. We hope to do another one on our next trip! |
