| Our tour guide Susan couldn't have been more knowledgeable and friendlier. This tour is great because it combines a lesson in history with a bit of the local food thrown in as well. Although we did not go very far -- we stayed within a 6 block radius -- we did walk around quite a bit and we were certainly tired at the end of the day. Sampling food from 7 different establishments that I'd never been to before (even as a local) was delightful. My sister and I took our mother for her birthday and she loved it. I am looking forward to trying another Foods of NY tour in a different area... perhaps Chinatown next. Thanks for a great day! |

| This was my 4th food tour with this company. I have enjoyed all of them. If you like to eat and try new food dishes, this is for you! I took my family from out of town on this tour and everyone said they had a good time. In addition to food, you do learn about culture of the neighborhoods, both past and present. The first 3 tour guides I had were AMAZING-lots of energy and made everyone feel welcome. Real professionals. The last tour guide we had was okay. She didn't have the positive energy like the rest of the experiences I've had with the company. It wouldn't deter me from taking another tour with them-she was still informative. |

| The mix of food, history and gossip is perfect. Whether you know the area or not, it is still a lot of fun. Good quality food, and lots of it, so come hungry, not too much walking with many stops. Our guide was informative, he even shared recipes with us. I shall definitely go back to many of the restaurants and music venues. |

| My boyfriend and I completely enjoyed ourselves on the tour of Greenwich Village/SOHO. I have done 2 other tours and knew what to expect. My boyfriend had never done one of these tours and told me throughout the tour what a great time he was having. The tour guide was able to tell us about the history of the area as well as the history of some of the places we stopped for tastings. The food we had, from each place, was really delicious. We tried things from Indian street food to pasta with bolognese sauce to rich creamy ricotta cheesecake. We stood outside of some places and others we were invited in to sit at tables and relax, try the food and listen to stories of how the particular restaurant came to be. In all, we had a great time exploring this small section of the Village and the great and diverse food it has to offer. We intend to go back and do some more exploring on our own and we certainly intend to sign up for other tours. Thank you! |

| Thought the tour was very interesting and the food sampled quite good. However, we felt very rushed starting about 2/3 of the way through the tour. Perhaps less time could have been spent during the orientation so as to not rush us later. In addition, we thought it was a waste of time to spend so much time inside La Lanterna when we were not sampling food there. At Cuba, the food was excellent, but we were encouraged to order mojitos and then had only a few minutes to drink them. Enjoyed the tour very much, but feel it could use a few modifications. |

| Everything was so well organized. Our guide knew the area and food stops in depth. I can't decide which tour to take the next time I visit NYC. |

| Our tour guide Suzie was extremely knowledgeable about the different food locations and tastings, as well as the Central Greenwich Village area. Her personal experience within the territory and with the food was evident.
My wife and I felt that the tour provided excellent value for the price. The volume of food was more than expected and Suzie's vignettes covering some of the sites (Minetta Lane, Washington Sq. Park, Cafe Wa) were very informative.
Absolutely no complaints. |
