Loved the combination of food and the history of the neighborhood. Can't wait to make another trip to NYC to explore another neighborhood through these tours. Such a great experience!

This is our second tour with this company in 5 years. Such a great way to learn about the area, see things up close AND have wonderful food. Don't do this on your last day in NYC as you will definitely want to get back to dine at some of the places you sample. Great guides. Good timing, guidelines (no shopping along the way) and plenty, plenty to eat. Forget being NYC fashionable - you definitely need to have sneakers on your feet; you will be standing and walking for 3 hours! Good value.

Ask for tour guide Raheem...he had so much insight into the area and food. I believe he does the Chinatown tour as well, so I'll be looking into that.

The food was just the beginning of the experience. The history we learned about the village and Soho was priceless. Rahim should write a book about what he knows about the city. We went back later that night because of the connection we felt to the area. Well worth it. Don't forget to tip your guide well.

Wonderful way to spend an afternoon

I had done a food tour in Seattle a few years back and wanted to try one in NYC. Being from Long island, it was a train and a taxi ride downtown, so why not? I have to say, it was a fantastic way to enjoy an afternoon. I am not a foodie, I just like food. Don't ask me to describe the food, but I will say it was all delicious and the portions were more than generous. I was stuffed and happy. We stood outside and ate at most stops, but we did get to sit briefly at two restaurants. We also walked through Washington Square Park which was alive and vibrant. When I first heard the trip was three hours, I started figuring out how to "get lost" after two, but I loved every minute. It was paced perfectly with enough rest stops to allow time to regroup and we were certainly never hungry. We also saw a terrific glimpse of the history and charm of the Village in addition to the food. Our tour guide Sue was friendly, informative and patient. A great way to spend an afternoon.

I came to NYC from Atlanta for my birthday weekend. I took 2 different tours w/ this company and they were both great. Susan was my guide for this tour and she was very nice. She showed us all a good time. As a vegetarian I was very happy that Susan made sure I always had a choice too. I was so full at the end ..... And Happy !

We decided to book the Central Village/Soho food tour as something different we had never tried and I'm so glad we did! We learned more about the area on our 3 hour tour than even my New York relatives didn't know and the food was delicous! Our tour guide, Raheem, was excellent and hilarious-you could really tell he was familiar with the area and developed bonds with the vendors we visited. He also had many of his own comical stories that really added to the tour and made us feel like we were just traveling with a friend through town. He was also very respectful of all guests and locals and taught us not to be just tourists but real NY foodies! ;) I reccomended this tour to everyone who asked about my trip, we will definetly plan to do this again!
