This was our second Foods of New York tour; we had done the original Greenwich Village tour last summer. Our guide Susan was excellent--friendly and very informative. The tastings were all delicious and unusual. I highly recommend you do both tours, and if you're new to the area, do the original tour first.

I had a wonderful day. Our tour guide, Susan, was terrific and full of great knowledge of the area. The tastings were very good and fresh. The portions were perfect. I left with a full belly and a new understanding of the area. Great time!!!! Will do it again.

It was nearly 90 degrees and our tour guide Susan was thoughtful enough to keep us in the shade while speaking the culture and providing us with a few air conditioned stops to get refreshed. The food was grand and definately will be comnig back with friends to try some of the other places on the tour. My one recomendation would be to do plain fresh mozzarella as our group (50%) dont like smoked food and the smoked cheese was potent... The sausage from across the street on the other hand was FANTABULOUS! cheers.

I also went on the Chelsea Market tour and liked the locations of the Village Tour better but the food offerings from the Chelsea Market tour better. It's a trade-off between location or food! However, I did enjoy both and would recommend them. Thank you.

Our tour guide Diana was extremely knowlegeable about the SoHo area. The food samples were great to try. They picked things you probably wouldn't normally try on your own. I highly recommend this tour, but do it at the beginnings of your trip, so then you're informed of places to go & eat/try,

This was our ten year anniversary trip. My husband and I had done all of the "touristy" types of things in NY and wanted something a little different. It was off the beaten track and it gave us a greater appreciation of NY's history, especially the Central Village/Soho area. We went by several places that were started around 1915 that are still in operation. There's a reason why they are still in business, they're extremely good. But the greatest thing about the restaurants that we went to is that they didn't have that corporate giant feel to them. So appealing. It made us realize that the next time we go to NY we should probably stay in that area so that we can eat at as many of these locations as possible.
