| The tour was fun and interesting, and the food was good (and quite filling). Our tour guide (Rahim) was quite enthusiastic throughout the tour. The one thing that I was a little surprised by was that much of the food was of the take-out, meat-patty variety. This is completely understandable (as it's hard to cook for a group of 16, and patties probably keep well), but it wasn't something I had anticipated ahead of time. Nevertheless, everything was good, and I would recommend the tour to anyone who finds the concept of a "food tour" interesting. |

| This was a good tour. We had a passionate guide (Raheem) who knew his stuff and it showed. The tastings we plentiful and enough that at the end of the tour you were satisfied. The tour gave a good overview of the area historically and food wise. Definately not time wasted. |

| At first when I read that the tour would be 3 hours long I was worried that my husband wouldn't make it, he has horrible joint problems in his feet but there were many stops so it wasn't 3 hours of continuous walking and the walking that was done was at a very easy pace. Restroom breaks were included and taken full advantage of!
The food was tasty and definitely was enough to be considered lunch. The tour guide, Raheem, was informative as well as personable. While waiting at the meeting spot before the tour he chatted easily with us at the bar.
We would def do this again next time we're in town. |

| This was our first day ever in New York and we wanted to get a feel of the 'real' streets and a bit of history and background. We found the whole tour well organized, friendly and informal. Our guide (Barri) knew her stuff and was enthusiastic about the Village. Not too much heavy info and well timed tastings of loads of really interesting and different food. The handout about places to eat was really useful. All in all I would say it was well balanced and good value. |

| We had a wonderful time exploring the area with Berri our guide. This tour really gives a great feel for the area that you would not achive on your own. We tried wonderful foods and learned not only about the foods of the area but also a lot about its colorful history. |

| This tour was recommended to me by my parents who had visited me from out of town. They really enjoyed it, so much so that even though I live locally, I decided to do it with several of my friends. I don't think my tour was as good as theirs was, but we did have a good time on it. The pros of the tour: ate good food and learned new facts about the area. The cons of the tour: it poured rain for half of our tour and our tour guide. The weather can't be helped. But our tour guide did not try to take us by a store with umbrellas until the rain was almost stopped (and it had been raining for an hour and a half at that point). She seemed more intent on getting the tour over with then actually enjoying the tour itself. My parents had spoken of how personable and fun their tour guide was. Ours was not at all, and even was abrupt when we tried to ask questions or make conversation. I understand that the tour is both history and food of the area...but for most of the tour it seemed focused on history and not really on food, and that was more of an after thought. I would've liked to have learned more about the restaurants and had more tasting, then walking around Washington Square Park. But overall we still enjoyed ourselves, despite the rain, and I would recommend it to others who visit. |
