| I appreciated that the tour guide had great knowledge of the area, providing lots of interesting history of the village, its culture, architecture, etc.
There was lots of discussion about food, but I think the food sampling needs improvement. Too much talk about restaurants that we could not sample taste. For example, 15 mins standing inside the Bella Vitae hearing all about it without any sampling, not even the torte on the bar that was staring us in the face the whole time the tour guide was talking. Don't take us into a restaurant if you are not going to let us sample something; afterall this is a culinary tour. Most of the eating seemed to be at the end of the tour. I think you should spread it out more, even if it is just a bite while standing outside the restaurant. Another example, is that heard and were shown the restaurant serving the best Falafel but we didn't get to taste it.
I think the tour is best called, " A History Walk thru the Village, with food bites along the way." |

| This tour was what we'd hoped it would be---learning about the area and tasting some good food. The only disappointment was BellaVitae---while it was interesting learning about the restautrant and it's food/drink philosophy, it was odd to be inside, looking at the kitchen, etc., and not be offered something to taste---how hard would it be to put out some olives and cheese? However, that's the only criticism---our guide was knowlegdable, articulate, had a good way with people, and kept things moving. I especially enjoyed the walk through Washington Square and the explanation of its history. A good experience. |

| Susan, the guide, is very prepared and explained a lot of real interesting things. The sites chosen for food tasting are a little bit too much of Italian, we think there is also else. |

| My husband and I were celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary and had already done many typical outings; events, dinners, trips etc. I went on the West Village Tour last August and loved it and thought this would really appeal to my husband. He loves history, architecture and food!
The tour guide was awesome (Susan)...very knowledgeable and friendly. The size of the group (16) was good...it was easy to hear everything. The food tastings were wonderful and we will go back to several of the restaurants for a meal.
All in all, it was a great value. The tastings provide plenty of food and served as a lunch. The amount of walking is just right and the length of the tour is also good.
I would recommend this highly to anyone who wants to have a more hands on approach to investigating New York City. |

| Susan is a very knowledgeable tour guide, who seems to really love Greenwich Village. My daughter and I enjoyed the stop at Cuba the best, because of the wonderful Sangria and Mojitos. |

| Susan was an excellent guide. We learned much. The tastings were very good and fun. I plan on doing this tour again when I bring each of my other children for a visit to the city over the next two years. Thank you |

| The tour was great!!! It was something that my friends and I were looking forward to and we were not at all disappointed. The days after we were still talking about our expereince.
The only suggestion I will give is to formulate a balance time separation during each tasting. Some tastings were too close together while another seem to be far off. Beside that the experience is one to be enjoyed with family and friends. It makes the experience even more exciting and memorable. |

| The food tastings where really good.
But our guide talked a bit too much so we was late on the route and had to rush some tastings and didn't get through the whole tour.
The heavy rain made some of the tour a very wet experiense. |

| This tour was exactly what we wanted. We had a chance to sample street food in the coolest part of town and the historical commentary on the area put everything into context. The food choices were brave and they didn't try to "dumb down" the experience for masses, which I really appreciated. I will never forget Frank at Joe's Dairy or the lovely mushroom pasta we were surprised with at that Italian grocery store I can't remember the name of.
Susan (our guide) was great. She was energetic and informative and best of all, she was a foodie!
Good job, guys! The tour was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to New York and we'll definitely be back for another tour with you when we come back. |
