| It rained unexpectedly for most of the tour, but it was still a wonderful experience. The guide (Barri) was very friendly and knowledgeable and the tastings were absolutely divine! It was tiring but so worth it! Don't hestitate to book! |

| Pros:
Short time commitment; variety of foods; light to moderate level of walking; educational history of architecture, music, parks, restaurants & shops; water, literature with map, and rest/restroom breaks were provided. Host had great knowlege of the area & history.
Cons:
Unpredictable weather - the forecast predicted overcast & NO rain but it rained from the time the tour began until almost the end. Host was unprepared but since she was going by the forecast she was just as surprised as the rest of us; however, she recovered by finding a store that sold cheap umbrellas. The food samples were appropriate & varied but the combination was a little heavy. Vegetarians were accomodated with alternatives. Would have been nice to have an extra 5 or 10 minutes at some of the shops to purchase non-perishable carry-away items.
Would recommend to friends/family and would attend another/different tour. |

| I had a spectacular time on the food tour... probably one of the best parts of our quick weekend. With so many things to do in Manhattan, the tour gave us an area that we were more familiar with and in which we were comfortable getting around. The information about the history of the area was interesting and invaluable. The diversity of food that you get to try and hear about is spectacular. The day after the tour, we went back to the area to try places that were not 'taste-tested' during the tour. We felt like total pros, knowing the backstory and history of the area. I highly recommend the tour, Raheem (sp?) did a spectacular job. |

| We have been to both the VIllage tour and the SoHo tour. Both were excellent tours. Aside from all the great tastings we had, the guides are very informative and quite the actors. They made the day verry enjoyable. Had a super day. |

| Our guide was so enthusiastic and entertaining. The food was delicious. Nice mix of history, food, culture. I wanted to bring my friends who live here to some of the spots that were mentioned. |

| Diane lead us on a tour that told us as much about the history of Greenwich Village as about the foods we sampled. A knowledge local guide who maintained an enthusiatic commentary throughout the fascinating three hour tour. It was one of the highlights of my week in New York

| We expected to walk more and explore both the Village and SoHo. Our village tour focused mostly on MacDougal street and immediate environs and the SoHo part I think was when we crossed Houston street and walked couple short streets like Sullivan. We wanted to see more of the area and actually walk--there were so many streets to explore! After the tour we were able to walk on our own so the tour did help with our sense of direction. The food was OK at best save for a nice little morsel of smoked food. One Italian store in particular was spoken highly of and we went inside but we didn't get any food. People wanted to stop and buy something but we had to move on. I appreciated the tidbits of information we were offered about the area. I would advise to stay close to the leader so that you can hear everything, as sometimes the cars and trucks were louder than the voice. It was an interesting outing, and it seemed that most people loved it. However, don't be surprised if you want to stop and have lunch after the outing is over. |

| I had requested vegitarian which was accomodated at one tasting for me but was not accomodated for me at one of the other tastings. Only one other vegitarian in the group and she was accomodated at both tastings.
The food was much better on the other tour we did at Greenwich village.
We are regulars and are signed up for the Chelsea Market tour in November. |

| Our guide Diana was fantastic. She made the tour both educational and enjoyable by carefully adding personal knowledge about the area and helping us to see the neighborhood from different perspectives.
Of course, the food was fantastic. After the tour, my Godmother and I went to one of the recommended restaurants called Monte's and enjoyed a light meal.
This was my third food tour with your company. I recommend your experience to all of my friends and family. Keep up the good work. |
