Central Village/SoHo Food & Culture Tour

activity photo

Sample tasty treats from ethnic, old-school eateries in two distinct areas - one colorful and exciting, the other surprisingly quaint.

The tour was well organized, our tour guide was knowledgeable and organized. The food we tasted was very good. I would go back to the area for some of the foods on future trips.

This was my third tour with this group. Its a great place to take guests from out of town. Leader was fun and informative and my guest, a former New Yorker enjoyed this view of the village.

Great Food and Interesting History of the Area

Our tour guide Susan was from the Village. Her explanations of the area's history as well as some of her own personal experiences made the tour very enjoyable. A good tour guide is what makes a tour enjoyable and Susan was fantastic. She took us to some great eating places. The portions were larger than most of the other food tours we have been on. Even many of the foods we sampled had an interesting history. There is nothing more to say--Good food and a great tour guide (Susan) made the tour an exceptional value.

Walking Tour Wonderful & Tasting Terrific!

A wonderful walking tour with an excellent guide who was very knowledgeable about NYC and the area. Delicious tastes/samples of multi-ethnic foods, enough such that we were "very full" at the end of the tour. Would definitely go on another "foods of nyc walking tour" and have already recommended this tour to friends & co-workers!

Incredible guides and food.

We have now done 4 of the 5 tours offered and have enjoyed then all. Learned some history and tasted some food. On all of the tours we had more food than we needed but who can resist. We were shown places that we would have never discovered alone. One more tour to do, and we will do that on our next visit.

I have been on several great Zerve tours, but this one kept going around MacDougal St in circles. We should have covered more territory.

We were wondering how our tasting tour would be ,as it had been raining all morning and predicted throughout the day. It turned out to be a FABULOUS time ! The unique diversity of foods we tasted was so good and our guide pointed out other good places for us to return to. We can hardly wait to go on another Zerve next year when we get together
