My husband and I enjoyed this tour very much, tasting a wide variety of foods from Italy, Cuba and other ethnic backgrounds. Our guide, Susan was very informative in taking us around the area and explaining the history of those certain points of the city. I would highly recommend this tour and will certainly go back to some of the restaurants where we tasted the food.

I didn't think the area was as interesting as the original Greenwich Village Tour. We also did the Chelsea Market Tour which was also better. I highly recommend either one of those. Kurt was our guide on both of those tours and was fantastic!

We had a wonderful tour of the central village and SOHO. This was my second food tour, and am looking forward to attending others on my future visits to NYC. This is a great way to see different areas of the city. History of architecture, the people who live there or lived there, and additionally great scoop on restaurants is given. We went back to 2 or 3, and had wonderful meals. Our tour guide, Rahim, is very knowledgeable of the area and is passionate about his beloved NYC and food! Thanks Rahim!

I loved this tour, had previously been on the original Greenwich village tour, all GREAT food that I will hope to eat every time I return to NYC. The Indian street food awesome start, all the way to the finish at Once Upon A Tart... so full, didn't even have to eat dinner! And such a vibrant and interesting neighborhood, so many things to see and be said for, a great representation of the many and various ways the city changes over time.

As a first time visitor to New York we were glad that a friend had recommended these food and culture tours. We did book online before our trip and would recommend doing so as we just managed to secure the last 4 places. We chose the Greenwich Village area as we were very much into Bob Dylan who lived there during our early teen years in the sixties. The food samples in various cuisines were all delicious and we did make a reservation for an evening meal at one of the Italian restaurants albeit we were staying in a hotel off Times Square. The tour also included visiting the Cafe Wha nightclub, it was a surreal moment for us as it appeared that nothing had changed there since the sixties. We also visited the club on the evening after dining at the restaurant nearby. We thought the resident band on the Sunday evening were brilliant and it was such a good atmosphere.

My tour guide clearly loved his job, his neighborhood and the places we visited He was very knowledgeble on the history of both the neighborhood and of the places we visited, providing the background on each of the restaurants/food locations and providing tasty tidbits of" insider" information. The tastings were diverse and delicious and well spread out through the tour to prevent us from going hungry. If you enjoy food and are interested in the cultural and historical context this tour is for you!

The 3 hour food tour with Rahim our guide was enjoyable. He was funny and articulate. The tour not only introduces some of the best restaurants in town but also history about the area. This is a good value for money and I would recommend to anyone who loves food. We have indeed visited a few places the tour covered which were not recommended by any printed guidebooks.
