It was great to get the history of the area and the people who make the food. The guide,Berry. was great and had a ture knowledge and love of the area .She relayed how the neighberhood worked together to create an enviroemnt where you would like to live and keep values of the past. Teenagers would not like this tour as much as adults would.

I am a very picky eater. This was a great way for to sample different cuisines without a lot of investment. I was able to see & "taste" parts of the City that I never would have had I not taken this tour. I would highly recommend it!!

We loved Rahim! He made the tour so interesting and fun. he's knowledgeable and energetic. This tour is exactly what we were searching for. Good food from fun Mom and Pop shops, some history, fun funky facts about the area. We felt a little imtimidated in the area and by the time we finished, we felt comfortable and well oriented to the area. I thought the guide was very knowledgeable and the food choices were very good. This is my second tour and I like that it is small groups. This guide was courteous and certainly good, but not "warm and fuzzy". A little stand-offish. And perhaps that is intended.

It was the highlight of our weekend with the girls in NYC. Looking forward to each visit back taking another tour,very well planned out and I hope to get our tour guide Raheem again, he s funny and so knowledgable about the area. I will recommend to friends who are coming into NYC as a must do!

Not only do you taste the food, but you also get some background of the owner's/chef's of the restaurant's, the neighborhood, and historical landmarks surrounding Central Village/SoHo. It also gives you insight of restaurants you would like to return to during your trip.
