What a great afternoon excursion into such an interesting part of Manhattan - both historically/culturally and from the food perspective! The delicious and diverse foods tasted coupled with the knowledge and passion of our guide, Barri, made this tour one of the highpoints of our trip.

the guide was very knowledgeable and gave out really good information. The food was just more than a bite, very substantial helpings, and I think most persons did not have lunch. I also liked the handout with all the names and addresses and bios on some of them. Best handout I have been given in a long long time.

It was a wonderful day when we went, so check the weather close to the date. Wear comfortable shoes also, there's a lot of walking involved. Our guide Rahim was well versed in the local foods as well as the history of the area, very much recommended.

Our group consisted of 50+parents and 3 grown children. We, the parents, live out of town and our children are City dwellers. Even they learned new things about their adopted City and loved the recommendations for places to dine and purchase food that they did not know about. We thoroughly and equally enjoyed the cultural/historical and food tasting aspects of the tour. Rahim was the perfect guide and made the 3 hours fly by. We loved the varied and diverse food offerings which were all as fresh as they could possibly be. We'll definitely be back to tour another area.

We were lucky with the weather for this walking tour. The food from the places visited on the tour were fantastic my only criticism would be that when visiting the shops ie pasta and cheese producers we were able to go inside to see the food being made but we did not really see anything or get to see the producers maybe ask questions, it would have been nice but i appreciated that they were working and had customers in store. Great way to explore the Greenwich/Soho area of New York on a summers day. Thankyou

The food was great and there was plenty, but the tour of the area / neighborhoods was a real highlight. We had two tour guides (regular and a trainee) and both were excellent. The food focus is things you might not normally try on your own. It was interesting and all very good. Wife and I will be back for another tour.

My wife and I enjoyed the 3 hour tour very much. You may even call it an intimate tour in that it emphasized small family owned places that you would never find on your own. That together with the history of the area made it very worthwile. The "tastings" involved more food than expected and we were able to skip both lunch and dinner. I would recommend it to others.
