| As frequent visitors on short trips to NYC we can't believe we haven't tried this tour before. Although we have touched on these areas in broader past tours, we could have wandered on our own for days without finding all of the wonderful little gems that Barri introduced us to. All of the snacks were fabulous and unusual and she gave us dozens of tips and insights (shopping, comedy clubs, live music and theatre) for future trips to the area to make our time spent there so much more enjoyable. We immediately retraced our steps after the tour to visit some stops not on the tour that she gave us info about . We are already planning a day or two worth of activities in the area to investigate further on our next NYC adventure and our husbands will be wanting to take this tour too . Thank goodness for the informative handout Barri gave us, it's already filled with margin notes from her expertise. Can't wait to try the other food tours. This was a great activity for 2 friends, but would have been enjoyable as a solo or family too...even without perfect weather, we had a great group that was just the right size to enjoy our well paced tour together. Thanks Barri! L&T-Ontario,Canada |

| The tour included a good overview of the neighbourhoods with respect to history, interesting information, great restaurant suggestions, and most of all - good food to taste. The guides were very friendly and managed to keep the group interested for the duration of the tour. Very enjoyable. I would definately consider another food tour on my next visit to NY. |

| Our guide Bari was very knowlegeable on all aspects of the area covering both the history and the current landmarks/restaurants/delis. We went back to one of the restaurants she recommended that evening for dinner and the food was delicious. We were very impressed with the area covered, the food tasted and the tour generally. Would highly recommend it. |

| Unfortunately we had to cancel. Our friends that were joining us from Detroit had a death in their family. We plan to reschedule later in the summer.
Thank you.. |

| this was our 3rd tour with Zerve - we did Chelsea's Market in 2005; Greenwich Village in 2006 and Greenwich/Soho this year (2007).
Your tours are GREAT! very informative and the food is delicious and of a great variety. We learned a lot and now will be able to visit these areas on our own and know where to visit.
what will we do next year - you've got to come up with something new.

Couple on a Date |
| My husband and I are not "tour" people by nature. When we choose a tour, we like smaller groups and something a little different. We had never done a food tour before and thought it might be something we would enjoy -- and we did. We did the Central Village/SOHO tour. Food wise, there was a little something for everyone one the tour. All the food we had you could eat "on-the-go" and was small portions. Even with the small portions, though, we were comfortably full by the end. And along the way you would stop and learn some interesting facts about that area of the city. Our guide was a lot of fun. It is a walking tour, and there aren't a lot of opportunities to sit, so be prepared. There are bathroom breaks and they give you bottled water to take with you. They try and accomodate food allergies. My husband can't eat eggs - so the dish that normally had eggs was prepared for him without them. At the end they provide a guide of all the places to eat on their tours - including ones not part of the tasting itself. We were only sorry we were leaving that night and couldn't go back to try something else. But we'll keep the list because we know we'll be going back soon. We'll probably also do another one of their tours. |

| It was an extensive sales talk of neighborhood restaurants with street food sorts of samples.. The guide was energetic and made an effort to conceal the sales pitch nature of the event. |

| This was my third Foods of NY tour and just like the other two, it did not disappoint. My fellow group members all enjoyed themselves and we all learned so much about these unique neighborhoods. The tastings were great and introduced us to types of food we probably would never have tried on our own but will now definetly seek out in the future. Such interesting tidbits of history and humor thrown in made the tour that much better. Our guide was so knowledgable, personable, and enthusiastic. You could tell he just loves his job and loves NYC! |
