| Although the weather was below freezing January 31, Susan the guide kept us warm moving through the Village, tasting some great food and getting a history lesson of this vibrant area. I loved the information on architecture and what had happened at various spots. Susan kept the commentary moving, the info nuggets fascinating and the food spaced right. I only wish this 3 hour tour, that became three and a half hours, could have lasted LONGER.
The food and drink at Cuba were excellent and the soup at Montes' divine.
Be sure you don't plan anything right afterwards, because you don't want to rush this and you'll probably want to stay in the area to pick up something to eat later, to browse the shops or plan your evening in one of the many clubs pointed out during the walk. Fabulous - can't recommend it enough. I'll come back to do this one again, as well as try others. Thanks! |

| I had such great time on this tour! I was so happy to be acquainted with the non-mainstream New York! I have a list of places to go to dinner as well as a whole new area to explore! |

| Great afternoon, spoilt only by the biting cold. Rahim was an articulate and charismatic guide who displayed in depth knowledge on both the food and the areas we passed through. |

| Both my sister and I found the tour most interesting, loved learning about the culture and the food was da best! Our guide had more tidbits of information than Wikipedia! Can't wait to come back and try another tour, what a great way to learn about a great city.
Sincerely, Happy tourist.... |

| It was an interesting tour, and I will go back and try another one next time I visit NYC. It was very much a cultural learning experience, historic info with an up-close look at two of the neighborhoods in Manhatten.
I was a little disappointed in the food tasting, started out great and then tailed off at the end. I will recommend these tours to my friends though. |

| I have done foods of NY tours in the past and have really loved them. They were the highlight of our trip! This one was not as entertaining, unfortunately. I felt like the tour guide was not as entertaining as my past guides. I felt like she was limited in what she had to say about the culture aspect and then she kept highlighting these "fantastic" places that we didn't go in to. Her reviews of restaurants in the area didn't vary at all so it was hard to know which ones really were good. For a tour of 3 hours in length, you really need it to be fun and informative. I felt like it was a little lacking in both of these aspects. |

| The food is generally excellent; the reason you go on a food tour of course. As an added benefit though is the history of the area you get as you walk the area. I personally found that almost better than the food. |

Nice, could be better - much better

| The culture part of this tour was very informative and entertaining as presented by our enthusiastic guide. While the tasting samples were varied and appealing , the number of delicacies/venues visited was not generous. I took the Greenwich Village Food Tasting and Cultural Tour last year and thought it a better value. However, on this tour my guest, who is from from New Zealand, loved every minute! |
