| The tour was great!!! It was something that my friends and I were looking forward to and we were not at all disappointed. The days after we were still talking about our expereince.
The only suggestion I will give is to formulate a balance time separation during each tasting. Some tastings were too close together while another seem to be far off. Beside that the experience is one to be enjoyed with family and friends. It makes the experience even more exciting and memorable. |

| My husband and I were celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary and had already done many typical outings; events, dinners, trips etc. I went on the West Village Tour last August and loved it and thought this would really appeal to my husband. He loves history, architecture and food!
The tour guide was awesome (Susan)...very knowledgeable and friendly. The size of the group (16) was good...it was easy to hear everything. The food tastings were wonderful and we will go back to several of the restaurants for a meal.
All in all, it was a great value. The tastings provide plenty of food and served as a lunch. The amount of walking is just right and the length of the tour is also good.
I would recommend this highly to anyone who wants to have a more hands on approach to investigating New York City. |

| I suppose there's worse ways to spend a few hours, but this was advertised as a food tour so I reasonably was thinking the emphasis would be on food. It was more of a neighborhood tour, with a lot of not terribly interesting facts and stories about the west village. Along the way we stopped by several restaurants, but only in two were we able to actually sit down, the rest had us herded into tiny places or worse yet left to eat on the street, constantly trying not to block pedestrians while we ate the samples of food. The whole thing was a bit uncouth. The food itself was OK, nothing really stood out except the dessert tarts. The tour guide was fine, it wasn't boring because of him, it was more the material. Again maybe if you're visiting NY you would enjoy this, but I found the whole thing to be rather a yawn, and an expensive one at that. |

| First we were warmly greeted by our tour guide. We started on time and had a leisurely walk as he described the history of the area we were touring that day. I'm a native New Yorker, but have never explored Downtown. I couldn't believe all that I was missing! All the restaurants, stores and clubs that we visited were terrific, as was the food that we sampled from each. I thought that the samples were going to be small, but each sample was a good sized portion. If there were any leftovers, we were offered to take more. By the time the tour was over, I was stuffed and there was no need for dinner. One person in our group was a vegeterian, and accomadations were made at the stops that were meat related, which was very nice. We walked through and learned the history behind Washington Square Park, which was very interesting. I've seen pictures, but have never been there.
Our tour guide was very outgoing, funny, personable and knowledgable. If I did another tour, I would definitely want him.
My friends and I had a terrific time and can't want to come back to shop, eat and explore some more!
Thanks! |

| This was a great tour - it was mostly Greenwich Village with a little bit of Soho at the end. The guide was very knowledgeable and the food was excellent. |

| This is an great tour for visitiors to NY who do not consider themselves familiar with the area. If you live in Manhattan, chances are you've probably seen or experienced a lot of what is on the tour.
The food is definitely worthwhile but some of the "marketing" for the restaurants and clubs was a bit much i.e. suggestions to make reservations for this evening etc (although I understand the need to do this).
I would recommend this to visitors. |

| Went on Central Village/Soho tour. Raheem was fun, informative and passtionate about the tour. Lot's of great food and atmosphere. My friends and I are local and plan to revisit all of the establishments on the tour.
Really enjoyed the empanadas and mojitos at Cuba. Loved walking thru Washington Square Park.. Enjoyed EVERYTHING actually. |

| This is probably something I would bring out of town friends and family but still very good for me. Our tour guide was great. Learned a lot of interesting things about the area, the history...and seemed to know his restaurants (and food) pretty well. My only complaint (if any) was that we only visited a half dozen places to eat. The food was great though, wish I had more of an opportunity to sample some more of it....since it was all so good. |
