| Had a fine time on the tour and saw parts of Greenwich Village and SoHo I didn't know existed, even though I visit NYC a couple of times each year. Todd and Barry are good tour guides and included a lot of historical info about the area that went far beyond food facts. I was especially pleased that there was no overlap between this tour of the Central Village and FoNY's separate tour of the West Village. |

| The tour was fun and interesting, and the food was good (and quite filling). Our tour guide (Rahim) was quite enthusiastic throughout the tour. The one thing that I was a little surprised by was that much of the food was of the take-out, meat-patty variety. This is completely understandable (as it's hard to cook for a group of 16, and patties probably keep well), but it wasn't something I had anticipated ahead of time. Nevertheless, everything was good, and I would recommend the tour to anyone who finds the concept of a "food tour" interesting. |

| Raheim was our guide. What a great guy and very knowledgable. Raheim had some BIG shoes to fill. Our other guide has been Cindy, who was wonderful as well!
We recommend these tours without a question!
Thanks for being in business and continued success to you all.

| I attended the SoHo tour w/several friends a few weeks ago. It was a nice way to explore a part of the city that I didn't know much about and enjoy some diverse, local cuisine as well. I would especially recommend this tour to those that will be spending some time in that part of the city to get ideas abt places to eat during their visit. All food was excellent! Susan, our guide was very pleasant. I think the tour could benefit from some add'l historical info abt the buildings and more facts abt the area. I would recommend the tour to others. Also, the Food Tours staff was great and very accommodating to our needs that day. |

| Thought the tour was very interesting and the food sampled quite good. However, we felt very rushed starting about 2/3 of the way through the tour. Perhaps less time could have been spent during the orientation so as to not rush us later. In addition, we thought it was a waste of time to spend so much time inside La Lanterna when we were not sampling food there. At Cuba, the food was excellent, but we were encouraged to order mojitos and then had only a few minutes to drink them. Enjoyed the tour very much, but feel it could use a few modifications. |

| This is my 3rd food tour within the past 3 yrs. Our tour guide (Rahim) was excellent! The food was outstanding and we actually went back to Montes for dinner, even though we weren't even hungry!! I love the food tours because we taste foods that I would never order on my own. Who would have thought Chicken, Pineapple perserves and Cajun peanut butter would have tasted soooo good!!
I really enjoy these food tours and learning more about the city.....can't wait to try the Sushi dinner!!

| This was the second tour we took with Foods of NY, the first being the original Greenwich Village tour a few years ago. We enjoyed that one so much, we decided to go back for a "second helping," this time bringing an out-of-town guest. We all had a great time. Our guide, Susan, was friendly, informative and thoroughly professional. The tour runs like a Swiss watch, so precise that you have to stop and think about how much planning and organizing must go into it, to have each and every restaurant or shop prepared to greet and serve the group as soon as we arrive.
We are lifelong New Yorkers and my husband went to school at NYU, so we are no strangers to Greenwich Village, but New York is definitely a "work in progress" that can and should be visited with frequency. The food was varied, interesting, and of uniformly good quality. The Greenwich Village sights, from Washington Square Park to SoHo a real slice of New York. We even got to witness the finales of two different weddings - a little "extra" no one expected!
There are a lot of walking tours out there, but only one with FOOD; no contest! |

| Our guide was enthusiastic and knowledgable, the food was excellent and well worth knowing about. We have done all three available tours and, because of this, we now feel quite at home in the Village and make for our favourite food stores and restaurants whenever we come to town. We eagerly await the tour of Chinatown. |

| My friend and I did this tour together. I have lived in Manhattan for about 15 months and she was visiting from Texas. We both loved this tour. I saw a lot of things I'd seen before, but learned new things about them. I also saw a lot of things I'd never noticed or seen. I loved all the recommendations of different restaurants on McDougal Street and cannot wait to go back and try them out! Our guide, Raheem, was excellent - energetic, fun, interesting, etc... I definitely plan to go on more of your tours in the future! |
