| I thought the tour was fantastic. Very entertaining and the food was delicious. Our guide, Rahim, was amazing, he has such a great personality and was very knowledgeable. I will definitely do a similar tour again. Highly recommended. |

| I received a pair of tickets to this food tour as a gift from someone who had already taken it, and thought I would enjoy it (I did). The guide was fantastic, funny and knowledgeable. It was nice to learn of some new restaurants that I would never have come across on my own, and fun to meet the owners, and sample their foods.
The vegetarian in our group was given something special to eat in each spot. The walking is minimal, all the restaurants we visited were within a few blocks of each other, so most people would have no difficulty. |

| Our group of 4 enjoyed this even more than we thought we would. Anyone who loves food and loves or wants to get to know New York would find this a terrific way to spend an afternoon. The food was all excellent, and we felt like we were being let in on the secrets of special places to dine and entertain ourselves in Greenwich Village. Having lived in and spent most of my twenties in the Village during the 70's, I found it to bring back wonderful memories and to introduce me to a lot of the history and behind-the-scenes activity that I never knew had gone on. Our guide, Raheem, made this even more special as he was so knowledgeable about the history of the area as well as about the food -- it's cultural significance and how it is made. His presentation was excellent - funny, smart and charming - and the entire group seemed quite pleased that we went overtime despite walking for over 3 hours on a quite warm day. The choices for our food stops were all excellent. We loved not only the restuarants but the small shops we stopped in, and we did return a few days later to have lunch at one place and buy some pasta, sausage and dessert from several of the shops we were in. I would recommend this tour to anyone -- native New Yorkers as well as visiting tourists -- and in fact have already told several friends about it. It is well worth the money -- a bargain, in fact. Thanks to Raheem for a wonderful New York experience. |

| This was my second Food Tour, the first being a tour of the West Village. Comparing the two, I would say that this tour was more about the food and less of the history of the area. There was plenty of information but the West Village tour was crammed with detail. Having said that, however, our tour guide, Susan, was fantastic. She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very "New York." We loved her. We got a good overview of the "Beat" generation; the wealthy merchants who migrated uptown around Washington Square Park to get away from the crowds and docks of Battery Park; and the story of tenament housing built by immigrants for immigrants. The food was a surprise with the very generous samplings of Turkish gyros, pasta at Monte's ( we are going back this Saturday for dinner), servings of beef and chicken empanadas with mojitos ( drinks add'l charge) @ Cuba, smoked mozzarella, and the most delicious chocolate pear tart from Once Upon a Tart. And, after alll that, there were even more samplings. By the end of the tour we were all stuffed, and tried, unsuccessfully, to convince ourselves that we had worked off all the calories during our walk.
Highly recommend these tours to both tourists and locals. To Sue, thanks for a lovely day! |

| Had a wonderful time on the central village / SOHO tour last Saturday. We got to sample a variety of delicious specialties from local places and from more exotic cuisines. Enjoyed the history and the real estate info almost as much as the food! |

| I loved that Rahim showed us all the historical significance of Greenich Village not just taking us to restaurants.
He was very thorough and the food was fantastic. As a local, i have racked up on many new restaurants to visit in the near future.
I brought my Mother who was visiting from Los Angeles and she only speaks Japanese. I translated the tour for her and she was also very impressed with Rahim's historical knowledge of the area and she very much enjoyed the food. She is so sad that she can't get Joe's Smoked Mozzarella back in LA.
Thank you for the wonderful Tour! |

| Our tour was fabulous!! the stops were well planned and varied. Our tour guide was terrific - talkative, animated, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, full of good suggestions. We have taken two of the eating tours and will continue to take one each time we visit NYC. We have a child at Columbia Univ and we visit NYC twice a year. |

| This was my second tour. My first was the meat packing district, which I loved. So I talked a friend into trying the Soho tour with me. Again it was great and now we are looking forward to doing another in the future. Not only was the food great but the guides knowledge of the neighborhoods history was exceptional. |

| I have taken several out-of-town guests on many of these tours; the tours have all been thoroughly enjoyable, informative and culinarily delightful. However during the last couple of tours the guides, at the outset, have mentioned that gratutities are willingly accepted! I and my guests have found this overt tipping commentary to be rather distasteful and contrary to the character of the event. Maybe a 'tipping' note on your web page (if one exisits I apologise) would be more tactful.
I will return.
Thank you, |
