Central Village/SoHo Food & Culture Tour

If you want a chance to see the sights, taste the food ,and learn some history about Greenwich Village then this is the tour for you. Very informal but well organized to maximize the time spent. I really enjoyed it all.

I've taken all the tours offered by Foods of New York and they have all been very entertaining, along with excellent food. I only hope that they continue to develop additional tours, possibly in other areas such as Brooklyn. The guides provide great commentary and history. Highly recommend!!

It was a great day. The weather was perfect, the tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging, the food was better than expected !!! I wasn't aware that we would get such a history lesson. I loved the neighborhood of the tour. It was a perfect way to spend 3 hours in NYC and I believe it to be a bargain. Thanks.

The guide makes a big difference - Raheem was excellent. The tour affords the opportunity to learn about sources of food, entertainment and places we will want to revisit. We will go back to the neighborhood to walk about and to shop the markets for local specialties - esp. to Raffetto's for take home pasta fixings, Monte's for authentic Italian meal, Sullivan Street Tea & Spice Co. for some of the specialties we saw, and Once Upon a Tart for --- well one of everything.

Gave us a great introduction to the area. I was with my daughter on the tour and she lives in NYC. I was visiting but she enjoyed the tour as much as I did! Would highly recommend this to anyone that visits NY. I'd like to try another one of the tours when I visit again.

We enjoyed our culinary tour of Greenwich Village/Soho. The food samples were amazing and plenty. The smoked mozzarella was to die for. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us opportunity to ask questions. I would definitely book another tour with this company.

The food was delicious, and on a very hot summer day, there was a nice balance of chilled beverages to sample along with the hot foods. The historical and local information provided by the very knowledgeable tour guide was most interesting. We will definitely take another tour on our next visit to NYC.
