We got this tour as a gift and loved every minute of it! Our guide, Diana, was fantastic- she used to live in the neighborhood that we toured! The food was delicious and plentiful enough that we skipped dinner later. We can't wait to take our next tour! |

This is a great way to get to know individual parts of Manhattan. If you love foods, and history, this is a great tour. Definitely wear your comfortable shoes...3 hours is long for walking/standing and it can get to your lower back! I would say this is not a tour for young children, as there is a lot of listening to history, but teenager age and up with an interest in this would be appropriate. I had my two daughters, college age, and my mother iage n law, and it was a fun time! You do not need to eat something first...there is plenty of food! We can't wait to take another tour. Oh, and by the way, 3 of the 4 of us are vegetarian, and you need to let them know this when doing the online purchase as they will accommodate you! Everything was delicious! Our tour guide was great! After the tour we went back to purchase fresh, delicious pasta on Houston St. (One of the stops) Bring your camera! |

Tour guide was Susan and she was fantastic. Not only a great way to try some different foods with new people, but also a lovely walking tour of the sometimes confusing Village! I would highly recommend doing this to friends, and would definitely look at doing others when I head back to NYC. |

This is our third tour with Foods of NY. It was an interesting walk around the neighbourhood and we learnt a lot about its history. The guide was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. He talked a lot - possibly a tad too much! His tendency to personalise everything was often amusing but a more straightforward presentation would have been equally satisfactory. The food was very good - top marks go the the Cuban restaurant - the best empanadas I have ever eaten - crispy, fresh and tasty. The pear and chocolate tart was also extremely delicious. Seeing mozarella made by hand and visiting a traditional coffee merchant were both really interesting experiences. Despite my personal reservations about the frenetic manner of the guide I would definitely recommend the tour to friends. It's a great way to get to know a neighbourhood and a wonderfully entertaining way to spend three hours. |

Raheem was an excellent guide! I highly recommend him. He was funny, and knew an overwhelming amount of information about the area as well as all the foods we tasted. We were very full after our tastings and did not need to eat anything for a long time afterwards! The foods were amazing!! The flavors truly exploded in your mouth with the first bites. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone!! |

Guide was very entertaining but made no effort to get to know us ie. where we were from, what we like to do, learn a few names. Since we were a club it would have been easy to get the info and make it a more personal touch. Food was good. We were lucky to have good weather |

Our guide was a friendly and energetic gentleman who knows around the neighborhood so well! My sister and me were impressed with his professionalism - attentive, prepared, and great presentation for the tour. We ate so much food, knew much more about the neighborhood and got a good amount of walking... i am sure everyone was happy! |

This is my 4th food tour and I am a huge fan! I am a local New Yorker, and whenever I have friends in town, I book a Zerve Food tour. It gives my visitors a chance to see and taste local places and learn about the history and architecture of the neighborhood. It gives me that same opportunity! I have several new favorite spots that I return to again and again, because I was introduced to them by the food tour. I highly recommend this tour for both locals and tourists! |

Really enjoyed our tour thru the village. Was totally impressed with all of the history the guide gave in a fun and interesting way. Plenty of food for the tastings. Will go back to places we visitied in the future. Had a great time! Love the small groups walking instead of buses. |
