Central Village/SoHo Food & Culture Tour

I bought this tour as a gift for my husband who loves to try different foods. We enjoyed everything about the tour. Our guide, Susan, was informative and fun to be with. The stops we made provided us with delicious food in just the right amount, so that at the end of the tour we were comfortably full; and the variety of types of food was a plus, too. We loved walking around the interesting neighborhoods of Central Greenwich and SoHo and learning the history and other information about the area. We were lucky to have beautiful weather, so it was a perfect day!

Susan was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and fun, restaurant choices were excellent and the food was great with generous portions.

We had such a great time on this tour with Susan. She gave us some history of the neighborhood, was friendly and kept us on pace, and the food tastings were great. I did this tour with my two adult daughters, and we all enjoyed it very much. On top of everything else, one of my daughters just recently found out she had a food allergy, and the tour was extremely accomodating without making her feel singled out or out of place. We all highly recommend the tour, and the food! We would also go back for another tour of a different neighborhood.

We took a friend from out of town and we had as much fun as she did. I spent years working in soho and this brought that neighboring area to life for me. The guide was wonderfuL, the food fantastic and we can't wait to take another tour. This is not just for tourists! Great way to celebrate a Birthday or other special day. Thank you.

This was the first tour we've taken with this company, and we were absolutely delighted. Barri was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide. The 3 hours consisted of a cultural tour interspersed with tastings - some "on the street" and others 20-30 minutes sitting down inside the restaurant. The pace was perfect. We had approximately 15 in our group - it was a perfect size and by the end of the tour we had met everyone. Overall it was a great experience. I would highly recommend the tour to individuals, couples, and families with pre-teens on up in age.

WE ENJOYED THE TOUR VERY MUCH. THE TOUR GUIDES WERE VERY KNOWLEGEBLE AND THE FOOD TASTINGS WERE GREAT, NO SMALL PORTIONS.WE HEARD ABOUT THE TOUR THROUGH OUR DAUGHTER WHO WORKS IN THE VILLAGE. WE WENT ON THE TOUR WITH 12 OF OUR FRIENDS AND EVERYONE COULD NOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THE TOUR. WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING ANOTHER TOUR THE NEXT TIME WE VISIT THE CITY. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE TOUR!!!!!!!!

This was a great tour. You will not need lunch after this tour! We learned so much about the area and some great restaurant choices.

I just took my third walking tour with Foods of NY. This time I took my son and his girlfriend who live in NYC. It was as enjoyable as the first two. Even though I previously took the Central Village/Soho tour, it was a bit different as it was a Sunday and last time it was a Saturday. I would highly recommend these tours. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and make the experience so interesting and fun.

We picked this food tour because of the different food options. I actually liked the Indian food the best. It gave us the opportunity to taste something different that I would be afraid to order or even go to that restaurant. A few places I would definitely go back because of their tasting and some for their history. Our tour guide was great and gave us so much information about the entire area - too much to remember. We took pictures of different places to jog our memory or to google later on. I am already looking into taking a food tour in Chicago and have told numerous people to definitely take advantage of one of these food tours. We loved it. Thanks

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. This is my second food tour (a couple of years ago, I was on the Greenwich Village/West Village tour which was also quite good.) Susan was a very informative guide and gave us lots of interesting tidbits on the area's history. Food tastings were delicious and definitely more food than I was expecting - you will not go hungry on this tour.
