Wonderful flavors, nice amount of tastings, good variety. Loved hearing about the architecture, history of the neighborhood, and "culture" of the people. |

Our tour guide was great and had wonderful knowledge of the area. He was enthusiastic about the food and introducing us to his city. He offered a lot of side stories along the way which were very educational. We will definitely do it again on our next trip to NYC. |

This was my 3rd time using this company and they rocked. This is a non-touristy insider view of the neighborhood.. Our guide, Rajid, was amazingly informative and funny as hell!. |

This tour gave us a great introduction to the West and East Village - the history, its inhabitants, and its diversity of culinary delights. Our tour guide worked hard for his money - energetically and enthusiastically taking us through what the area has to offer. I would thoroughly recommend this tour to those seeking to learn about the area and taste their way through it! Good fun and informative. |

The food was just the beginning of the experience. The history we learned about the village and Soho was priceless. Rahim should write a book about what he knows about the city. We went back later that night because of the connection we felt to the area. Well worth it. Don't forget to tip your guide well. |

I cannot say enough great things about this tour. What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon in NY's SOHO/NOHO section. Raheem (The man) was entertaining as our guide. Food and drinks were awesome, along with the cultural stories shared with us. Raheem was outgoing, polite, keep the group together, obviously enjoyed what he did and made everyone LOVE NY; locals and tourists alike. Even the New Yorkers in and out of the places we visited commented to us and our guide in a friendly way. I'm thinking that if the other tour guides are even close to doing as great a job as Raheem, you are in for a treat. Go. Experience something different in NY. It's not just theater you know! |

This is the second tour we have done with Foods of New York and it won't be our last! Our guide Rahim (crazy, enthusiastic, food fanatic) gave us just the right mix of history and personal information as we strolled around the central village and SoHo. We ate everything from Italian to Indian, cheese to chocolate tart. The food choices were great and tailored for both the meat eater and non meat eater in the group. We were lucky to have dry weather which definitely helped. Would I recommend them. Oh yes - without a doubt. |
