Central Village/SoHo Food & Culture Tour

Susan was really knowledgeable about the history of the neighborhood as told through the restaurants and their proprietors. So much food! Everything was really delicious and special.

You will get more than enough good food--portion sizes are very generous and you stop for food often. We loved it!

Our entire tour was most enjoyable! Our guide was quite knowlegeable about the area, giving us history and interesting tidbits about who had lived there through the years. The food at each stop was very delicious and the portions were much larger than I expected. I would start out more slowly with the eating next time!! I didn't need to finish EVERYTHING!

Absolutely great, my 4 girlfriends and I took a friend for her birthday, it was the perfect day. In fact i've already recommended it to many people. The food was delicious, the culture and history was fasinating and to top it off our tour guide (Soho- man, 9/17 tourguide) was amazing! He was completely animated and passionate about it, made everything that much more exciting. I give the tour a 10+!

My third tour with FofNY Tours and maybe even the best. Great tour guide, so enthusiastic, so knowledgable. The food choices were very varied and not too large. From Italian to Indian to Cuban the food was selected to enable you to try items you'd never normally order. The history element of this tour is always great, they don't just do food! They do neighbourhoods but the history is spot on. My guest loved it too

Captivating history, entertaining guide and most of all delicious food of all kinds. This tour gave us a new appreciation for the area and made us want to discover more. We would recommend this to anyone!

My husband and I joined the tour late so missed much of the setup information. Regardless, the tour guide and our fellow tourists welcomed us warmly and away we went -- saw many historical and entertainment sites, including movie locations and the very special Village Gate; heard about former, current, and even future famous residents; and tasted wonderful ethnic samples. Had no idea what a gem this area is. Our guide was fantastic: knowledgeable, organized, great sense of humor. Definitely recommend this tour as a fun way to learn of our past and our present.

Loved sampling all the different varieties/flavors of food and hearing the histories of the stores and restaurants.

Our guide, the food and the service created an excellent experience. Our group of four included my daughter-in-law and one of her friends (mid-20s) and my sister-in-law. Our guide was informative about the restaurants, whether they were a part of our tour or not, along with information about the neighorhood, including past history, singers, actors, and movie locations. This helped us to see how viable the area is to New York City. We will certainly visit this area in the future.

Guide was interesting and informative providing historical background to various locations as well as details of how foods of various tastings were cooked. The variety and quality of the food included in the tour was very good.
