Central Village/SoHo Food & Culture Tour

The food tour was very good and interesting. Learned the history of the area and went to restaurants and food stores I never would have found on my own. This is the 2nd tour I've taken and highly recommend it.

WE HAD A GROUP OF 6 - 2 ADULTS 4 GIRLS 16-18 YEARS OLD. EVERYONE HAD ENJOYED THE FOOD AND THE INFORMATION. WE HAD A VERY KNOWLEDGABLE TOUR GUIDE (RAHIM) WHO WAS ALSO VERY PERSONABLE AND PLEASANT.

This is your 3rd food/culture tour I've done. I loved it every bit as much as the Greenwich Village and Meat Packing District tours. Rajim was a great guide. Very knowledgeabe and enthusiastic. Even though I've been to NYC many times, I always learn new history and details of the neighborhoods. I treasure the handout provided and plan to come back and eat at several of the restaurants shown on the tour. Once again, a really fun time with good food , a great guide, and a great guide to use on future visits! You've really got this honed to an art.

I highly recommend this tour! We had a fantastic time. I grew up outside of NYC and my friend is from NYC ---we both loved it, even though we spend a ton of time there! There was so much history tied into the tour and all of the food was just incredible. Our tour guide was great.....she was so knowledgeable! All the places we went were just delicious.....I can't wait to try another food tour and go back to some of the places we visited. Thanks for such an awesome time!!! Five Stars! Laura

Our tour was fantastic in about every way. The food was so great - not too much and not too little - and each made fresh and ready for us. The tour was expertly paced and our guide new the area like the back of her hand. About 3/4ths of the way I realized that there were even more things to see and tastes to experience! This was way worth the money and I can't wait to take the other tours as well.

This is my second time on this tour and it was even better then the first! This time I brought friends from out of state and although one of them couldn't eat some of the items she still enjoyed the tour! We actually ended the day with her visiting a pizza place on the other tour for a slice! (For her, the rest of us were full)

Loved our guide! He was very personable, upbeat and fun. Very down to earth. Loved walking the cillage and hearing the history. Of course, the food was wonderful. Even places that I thought I would not like the samples turned out to be fantastic!

Although the weather was below freezing January 31, Susan the guide kept us warm moving through the Village, tasting some great food and getting a history lesson of this vibrant area. I loved the information on architecture and what had happened at various spots. Susan kept the commentary moving, the info nuggets fascinating and the food spaced right. I only wish this 3 hour tour, that became three and a half hours, could have lasted LONGER. The food and drink at Cuba were excellent and the soup at Montes' divine. Be sure you don't plan anything right afterwards, because you don't want to rush this and you'll probably want to stay in the area to pick up something to eat later, to browse the shops or plan your evening in one of the many clubs pointed out during the walk. Fabulous - can't recommend it enough. I'll come back to do this one again, as well as try others. Thanks!
