Central Village/SoHo Food & Culture Tour

In addition to the food being great, our guide Raheim was great. Very knowledgable, interesting, and very cool. The trip was a gift to my parents and they had an awesome time. Plan on going on another one in another part of the city...

This was a worthwhile tour. I went with some out of town friends and I think it's more exciting and informational for tourists than for NYers. All the food was exceptional.

I completely enjoyed this tour! I went with my husband and we both found it interesting and the food very good! The tour guide we had was friendly, informative, and very nice...I recommended it to all my co-workers on Monday when I went back to work. We happen to have a beautiful day for walking in the city and being that we are from Long Island it gave us some insight that we didnt previously have to an area we have visited often. Recommend this type tour highly and will definitely do another one!!

We took a friend from out of town and we had as much fun as she did. I spent years working in soho and this brought that neighboring area to life for me. The guide was wonderfuL, the food fantastic and we can't wait to take another tour. This is not just for tourists! Great way to celebrate a Birthday or other special day. Thank you.

food choices were excellent

This tour was good. We walked around the village alot and learned many interesting facts about the history of the area. The food tastings, which were interesting, were given to you on the sidewalks. There were various sit downs because of rain but this tour is more for the historical aspects of the area. The tour guide (Diana) is a lifetime local New Yorker and is very versed on the area, famous movie spots and the history. We went to many local places where we can go back to and buy food. I like the idea of going back and buying after the tour. I was sorry there was no pasta tasting at Raffetto's. I didn't like the halavah or the pasta bolognese (although the restaurant is excellent). The Cuban restaurant was nice and could be a very romantic spot. The sangria there was excellent. All in all, the tour is well worth it. I look forward to taking some more.

I did like the tour and would recommend it to others. I am from NY and spent some time in the village previously but learned quite a bit about the history of that area. The food was decent, some places better than others of course. We went on a day that was pretty bad weather, so I am sure this put a bit of a damper on the tour. My only complaint would be that our tour guide could have made it a bit more fun. She was very knowledgable and informative, but didn't leave room for questions we may have had or try and unite the group at all. This being said I don't want you to think she did a poor job, and I would definitely suggest that others take this tour.

Food, history, architecture- who could go wrong? I have gone on two tours so far and each time I go, I have so much fun that I start to think about which tour I will do next. Afterward, my friends and I list which restaurants we want to return to and we do so for the next few months.

We have now done three tours, Greenwich Village, Chelsea Market and now Central Village/Soho, and of this one was one of the best. Come hungry as you will be tasting many varieties of food. Our tour guide, Raheed, was extremely knowledgeable with the area, including the food and the architecture. You will not be disappointed with this one. Enjoy! M Anderson Malta, New York

What a great time was had during our Village/SoHo Food tour! Our tour guide Susan was awesome and had some wonderful stories and tidbits to share along with the historic piece that definitely added character to all the food we tasted! I would do this again and again! I would strongly recommend this culture tour to anyone interested in some of the great eateries that are not well know but that are superb!! I am from NJ and even though that is considered "local" I would never have found these places without embarking on this wonderful tour!
