This was one of the neatest things we did on our vacation to NY. The food we were able to try was wonderful, places we would have never found. Must do! |

This was the third tour my wife and I have took. Twice we toured the west village, once with friends and once with our granddaughter. We enjoyed them so much that we asked our grandaughter if she would like to go again ,on the centeral village tour, and she said she would love to!
Our guide was extreamly knowageable of the area and the restraunts and shops we stoped in. The types of food were varied and taste great.
If you want to spend a few hours learning NYC history and getting a taste of NY foods you'll love this tour. |

Enjoyed the tour. A lot of interesting information on the area. Thought there would be more sit down tastings. There was only one the rest were on the street. The china town tour had more sit down tastings. That is why we came back with friends. Some what disappointed. |

Susan, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgable and friendly. Food stops were all amazing. Almost too much great food. We were stuffed by the end. In between stops you get great history and background on the area, buildings etc. Would do it again just for the food!

My daughter bought this tour as a gift for my wife and I. We really had no idea what to expect before we arrived. Our tour guide Suzanne was excellent! She was very informative as well as personable. We will be sure to try all of the tours as we live locally. Thank you for a job well done! |

My wife and daughter and I enjoyed the tour and felt it was best out of the three tours we took, in New York. and would go on this tour again, obviously the food is exceptionally good all homemade in family run restaurants, a must try absolutely delicious. And the history and culture are in that area was very interesting, and surprisingly a lot of the area had a very picturesque character to it. We definitely would like to spend some more time down in the Soho area after taking this tour and also went Soho shopping tour which pointed out all the boutiques and shops for clothes and things in the Soho area there is quite a bit left for us to see possibly on our next trip to New York City. I would totally recommend this tour, our guide was great very knowledgeable on everything from the food the restaurant history of the area and the local perspective of things going on. It's a great way to experience one of the jewels of the city's SoHo area. |

Susan was engaging, relaxed, interesting. Orchestration of tour, with all the restaurants or shops having our tastings ready when we arrived, is remarkable. We enjoyed smoked mozarella we purchased from one of the shops, just last night for dinner, with homemade foccacia--an idea we got from our first stop on the tour. Fascinating to get history of the neighborhoods, celebrity residents, and music history at Cafe' Wha. Perfect balance of walking and sitting, being outside in the 95 degree heat of that day, then inside in air-conditioned restaurants. Have already recommended your tours to freinds coming to NYC. Plan to arrange Chinatown tour for next visit, and inquired if there might be Harlem tour. |

Great food along with a very knowledgable guide made for a fun way to introduce friends from out of town to the lesser known aspects of the big apple. We took "The Original" Greenwich Village tour which seemed to have a wider variety of both cultural and cullinary options. This tour has a heavy lean on Italian food - would have loved to include Kabab house and other ethnicities to add variety. We look forward to a lower east side tour making an appearance someday. |
