Central Village/SoHo Food & Culture Tour

This was our second tour. We did the Greenwich Village tour last summer. Enjoyed this tour even more than the first. Quantity and variety of food was good and interesting. Guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We took the tour with an adult son and I probably would not recommend for small children. Other than that, a fine way to see the village.

WOW! This is worth doing. My wife and I had our 11 year old daughter with us, and we enjoyed every minute of this tour. We were running late, and the owner waited for us and took us to meet the group. Susan, our guide, was so sweet and saved us some food from the first two stops that we missed. This was a great way to see the neighborhoods of New York and to learn about the culture, history and geography of this area, all the while munching on tasty morsels from great places to eat. I plan to return and search out these places, as they are THAT good. We ate empanadas from a Cuban restaurant, pasta bolognese from a traditional Italian restaurant, a chocolate pear tart from a bakery, wonderful treats from an Indian restaurant.... Fresh mozarella from a dairy.... Ahhh, such memories are even still leaving me smiling! This tour even included a lovely stroll through George Washington Park. Do yourself a favor. TAKE THIS TOUR!!!

As if the food wasn't wonderful enough, the guide reveled us with historical and social details as we made our way through the area: Bob Dylan's former house, the denizens of Washington Square Park, the prices of townhouses on the market, the private Italian club with a shooting range in the basement. We had a wonderful time and the food (and mojito) was fabulous!

This was my second food tour. To be honest, I didnt like it as much as the first one. This tour basically took place on 2 blocks. The choices of the places we visited where okay, nothing special. Before you go on this tour, try to get tickets for the meat packing district. I had enjoyed that very much.

We recently took the central Greenwich Village food tour and loved it. The tour guide was fantastic- he gave us a wonderful history of the area, individual buildings, and fun facts about past and current owners of a unique assortment of establishments. We took in the flavor of this slice of NYC figuratively and literally . The food samples were varied and generous, and the venues were all unique. We did the original Greenwich Village tour 2 years ago and loved being back to experience this one- looking forward to doing the rest!!!!

Excellent varied food outlets, extremely knoelegdgeable guide, great amount of food, god value for the price .

My wife and I really enjoyed the tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the restaurants and surrounding areas. He had a great sense of humor and he really enjoyed sharing all that information with us.

Loved the Central Village and SoHo Tour that I took with my husband. A very knowledgeable and entertaining guide led us to the stores and restaurants with the most delicious treats. I can't wait to go back and enjoy the food with my friends and family.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Central/Soho food tour. Awesome samples and interesting guide. All stops were greatly enjoyed by our group (Mom and two teenage girls).

The tour was fun. You get to sample various ethnic foods.
