Amazing Greenwich Village Walking Tour
Thu, Dec 19, 13   12:00 PM MELLENMURPHY Female 60-69 Domestic Tourist(s) Individual
Whenever I travel, I want to experience the local culture and food as much as possible within the limits of time. Finding this culinary walking tour made me so excited and I immediately signed up. It was everything and more than I expected. Our guide who has lived in NYC her entire life had a wealth of knowledge . Her passion for the Village and all of her stories allowed me to really "feel" and experience where I was. AND the restaurants and shops we visited were perfect. They were all ready for us and shared wonderful samples of their product. I was very well fed! I will never forget it and I wll recommend it to anyone and everyone! Cheers.

The best way to see Greenwich Village
Sat, Dec 14, 13   12:00 PM DanaRae Female 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Group of Friends
For an introduction to the village and all their fine eateries this tour is the best. Well educated local professionals giving tours with just the right touch of friendliness. This is the first thing to do when you come to town, then you will know which restaurants to eat at during your stay. You will also know the parts of the village which you will want to return and spend more time. Susan was a fantastic guide, you can tell she loves her town and sharing it with others. Loved every stop on the tour, such an array of eateries. Great time! Can't wait to do another tour of another part of the city.

Raheem, the tour guide was outstanding, both in his knowledge of the venues and the history of the areas visited. His interpersonal skills created a convivial and harmonious atmosphere within the group in a very short time. The food tastings were all delicious and the accompanying booklet of recommended venues will bring us back to this area again. This was a highlight of our trip.

The Time Flew By

We enjoyed our tour of Central Greenwich Village with our guide Susan. It was like spending a few hours with an old friend who couldn't have been more generous with her time and enthusiasm for the neighborhood. Of course, the food was lovely, and we ate and ate and ate from a diverse assortment of goodies--Italian, Indian, Cuban, with some tea and a yummy chocolate pear tart thrown in for good measure. The time flew by and before we knew it, it was time to say goodbye. Needless to say, we didn't need dinner that night.

This is my third food tour. They keep getting better and better. This time I took a group of 7 of my friends. They all said this was the best part of the trip. Raheem was our tour guide and what can we say. He was the best! He combines his knowledge with personal experience to make the tour a great experience. Thank you again. We all want to do another one next year and would love to have Raheem.
