Tour leader was excellent, informative and friendly. Food was very good but REDUNDANT. IT WAS ALL STARCHES AND CARBS, NO VEGETABLES.

Raheem did a great job providing us with history and noteworthy points about the neighborhoods. Of course, the food along the way was wonderful too. Three hours was just right.

Wonderful, really. Susan established a comfortable yet not cozy relationship with our group, and gave effective historical insights to the neighbourhoods and restaurants. Too bad the Cuban food was late coming; those mojitos were quite strong. Excellent tour; our third and not our last.

Best way to spend an afternoon

This is our third time with Food Tours of New York and this was the best. Raheem was outstanding and the food was to die for. If you take the tour, don't make evening dinner plans because you'll want to return to one of the places on the tour. The best!

Our group, myself, wife and daughter had a great time on the central village tour. The food stops were incredible and in the future we are planning to go to several of the restaurants. Our tour guide, Susan was alot of fun and very knowledgeable of the area. I would not hesitate to go on another tour and have reccomended this tour to seveal people already. By going on these tours you are receiving inside information on the best places to go. It's like you live in the area and know the best places to go to eat and have fun. Particularly for guys who are not interested in going shopping, this is a great choice for couples or family because there is something for everyone. You also learn alot about the particular area of the tour.

Great Tour, Great Food!!!

My wife and I have taken several trips to NYC and always try to stay downtown. We knew that there were great places to eat there so we figured we'd explore some more. This tour was not only great, but the samples were good as well. Everything from the fresh mozzrella, to the Cuban dining was a pleasurable experience. On top of all the great tasting we also got a charming guide who shared the colorful history of the area. We totally recommended for others, and we plan on going back to eat at the places we sampled from!!!

A fun and memorable tour

This was my first food tour that I've ever taken and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My guide, Susan, provided a great mix of relating history and stories about the neighborhoods as well as the "main course" of information about the food, restaurant owners and their stories. The food was very good and had a very nice variety. I enjoyed some of the special touches of meeting the owner at one place, going into some non-food places that were still very interesting, and sitting down at various locations (some in special eating rooms). I will seek to go on more food tours whereever I go.
