| This is our 3rd tour with foods of NY, and we brought 2 couples with us this time, and were all very pleased with the event.
Rahim, our guide, was so personable and knowledgeable. He was easy to understand and made sure we were safe and well fed.
The food is, as always, delicious, and it was an opportunity to try some foods we had never eaten before. And the history of the area was terrific as well.
We highly recommend this tour, and can't wait to go on the new Chinatown tour. |

| I loved that Rahim showed us all the historical significance of Greenich Village not just taking us to restaurants.
He was very thorough and the food was fantastic. As a local, i have racked up on many new restaurants to visit in the near future.
I brought my Mother who was visiting from Los Angeles and she only speaks Japanese. I translated the tour for her and she was also very impressed with Rahim's historical knowledge of the area and she very much enjoyed the food. She is so sad that she can't get Joe's Smoked Mozzarella back in LA.
Thank you for the wonderful Tour! |

| We really enjoyed this tour through Central Village. The food stops were well selected and there was a good balance between eating, listening and walking. Our guide showed us places to which we always would like to return. The food was excellent. We especially liked the Cuban restaurant and the place where we got smoked mozzarella (delicious!). We also got to know some nice places to go out in the evening. Next time we will try another one! Thanks, Ute and Christine |

| This was my second FoodTours activity, having previously enjoyed the Chelsea Market/Food Packing District romp. But this tour with Susan as our guide was much superior. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it, but even more satisfying was Susan's knowledge of the Central Village and SoHo, which helped bring to life the history and excitement of the neighborhood. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to friends, especially if they were abe to snag Susan as a guide. Excellent!!!! |

| Susan, our guide for the Greenwich-SoHo tour, was topnotch, sharing not just information on restaurants & menus, but about the neighborhood, local clubs, the people in the area, architecture, history, how things have evolved over the years. And, ah, the tastings...they were excellent choices and the portions were so generous. Glad we didn't eat lunch beforehand. It's hard to pick out a favorite part of the tour, but we loved the empanadas at Cuba (on Thompson) so much that we went back for lunch the next day and had more of them (also try their serrano ham croquettes - yum). We didn't do as much walking as I'd expected (which was fine, since we'd already put in many miles during the morning), but instead stayed within about a six square block area. There is a fair amount of standing, but also occasional opportunities to sit for a minute, plus bathroom breaks along the way. I would feel very comfortable revisiting the Greenwich area in the future and finding some great places to eat. Thanks, from one Susan to another |

| We were a group of 11 people who came to NY to celebrate a friend's 40th birthday. We wanted to do something a little different to accomodate a lot of different ages. We did the central village/soho tour. We learned a ton about the area. Our tour guide, Susan, really filled us in on a lot of the history of the area. Overall, we liked almost all the food. The spaghetti bolognese at Monte's was fabulous. We thought the dishes served at Cuba were fantastic!! The chocolate pear tart, homemade mozzerella, and homemade pepperoni were spectacular. There were mixed feelings about the potato wrap from Indian Bread. Some thought it was a little too spicy. However, we were lucky enough to be there when some fresh bread came out of the oven and that was superb!!! The only food that none of us liked was the "helluva" (I know I spelled that wrong!). It was sesame seeds with honey which formed a small piece of "candy." Honestly, not one of us liked it.
Overall, the tour gave us a great day and we learned a ton. There was A LOT of food offered and none of us were hungry for dinner. Word to the wise, don't eat a lot before you go. You really get a nice amount of food on the tour. |
