| A great way to see the area, try the food, learn some history, including some social history, of a great part of NYC. The tour guide was enthusiastic and energetic. |

| This was my first trip to New York and only had 3 weeks to plan for it. I debated for quite a while on wether to take one of the food tours and which one would be best for me. I thought none stood out as a sure pick for me personally but the variety of food offered on this tour was what interested me the most. I went on one of the last days of my 7 day trip to New York. For the majority of the time there my husband was working and I was seeing the sights. I wished now I had taken this tour at the beginning of my trip so I could have gone back with him more than just one night. I also would have signed up for at least one more tour if I had known beforehand how much I would enjoy it. Then I could have shown HIM around for once.
Our guide, Rahim was AMAZING. I could not believe the knowledge he possessed. He was versed in literature, music, culture, history, and of course culinary arts. I was astounded by how much he knew and shared with us. So many tours are either not informational enough or seem a bit canned. He was relaxed and personal with all of us. I was also a bit nervous about going by myself on the tour realizing that most people would be groups or couples and I wasn't sure of the age of most tourists. I was pleased to have a broad range of ages participating. I also met two sisters who were visiting the city together and we enjoyed one another's company during the tour.
I loved the tour and can't wait to go back and see the others! |

| We found the tour to be well worth our time and money. We enjoyed the food and liked that we went to places we would not normally have frequented. However, we found the history of the area to be as enjoyable (if not more) than the food sampling. My companion had lived in NY for several years and he learned things he had never heard before. Our guide was very knowledgeable and kept the tour very light and entertaining.
Will definitely consider attending another tour in future trips to NY. Was one of the highlights of our trip. |

| It was a beautiful day for a walking tour and with our very knowledgeable guide Barri and the tasty samples from the many restaurants the 3 hour tour ended way too soon. What a neat way to learn about different areas of NYC. |

| We were lucky with the weather and so spent a wonderful sunny day exploring popular and lesser-known streets in the village/soho. the tour focused on the area's history related to architecture, music and immigrants. Although we sampled quite a few different kinds of food (all tasty and interesting), I felt somewhat unsatisfied because each sampling was no more than a bite or two, and we were usually standing on the street trying to keep out of other pedestrians' way while we ate and listened.
Bottom line: a good way to get to know the history and culture of this part of new york, but don't choose it solely for the food! |

| The tour was fun and interesting, and the food was good (and quite filling). Our tour guide (Rahim) was quite enthusiastic throughout the tour. The one thing that I was a little surprised by was that much of the food was of the take-out, meat-patty variety. This is completely understandable (as it's hard to cook for a group of 16, and patties probably keep well), but it wasn't something I had anticipated ahead of time. Nevertheless, everything was good, and I would recommend the tour to anyone who finds the concept of a "food tour" interesting. |
