My brother and I are from Australia and we took this tour which recomended by a friend. Firstly the wealth of knowledge Diana possessed on the area along with the her easy goingand friendly nature, made for one of the best activities I did whilst on holidays in NYC. Diana continually provided relevant information, facts, figures, and wonderful direction. It was nice that we joined a small group on the day. It was easy to keep pace with Diana. Diana never once showed impatience or lack of interest. The group was captivated and engrossed by her teaching. The food tastings presented to us were a fantastic choice. The cafe, restaurant or business visited were warm, friendly and inviting. Overall I was very impressed with the tour. I would highly recommend it to others (as it was recommended to me). Please thank Diana for a brilliant day. Bruce and Neville

My adult daughter and I decided to take this tour because she is a culinary craftsman and enjoys all sorts of different foods. I was so pleased we had done this tour. Our tour guide was quite knowledgeable and patient and managed to keep everyone interested for the 2+ hours of our adventure through the streets of SOHO and the Village. She spoke well and shared so many interesting history tidbits and local flavor facts/legends which simply added to the entire experience. I even got to try foods I would never have tried on my own and I discovered that I enjoyed that whole "going out of the box with foods" thing. My daughter and I both were quite pleased and felt we certainly got our money's worth.

A great way to see the area, try the food, learn some history, including some social history, of a great part of NYC. The tour guide was enthusiastic and energetic.

The tour was fun and interesting, and the food was good (and quite filling). Our tour guide (Rahim) was quite enthusiastic throughout the tour. The one thing that I was a little surprised by was that much of the food was of the take-out, meat-patty variety. This is completely understandable (as it's hard to cook for a group of 16, and patties probably keep well), but it wasn't something I had anticipated ahead of time. Nevertheless, everything was good, and I would recommend the tour to anyone who finds the concept of a "food tour" interesting.

We have been to both the VIllage tour and the SoHo tour. Both were excellent tours. Aside from all the great tastings we had, the guides are very informative and quite the actors. They made the day verry enjoyable. Had a super day.

I can't recommend this enough, the tour was fascinating and the food delicious. It really gives you a lot more than just walking around by yourself. The guide was excellent. We'll be doing the classic tour next time we're in NYC.

This walking and food tasting tour of Greenwich Village and Soho was one of the highlights of our trip to NYC! My sister and I both loved it! Rahim is an EXCELLENT tour guide and made the walk fun, informative, and educational. The food samples were superb! One of the things we liked about this tour was the opportunity to sample some ethic foods we would not have known about otherwise. Whatever you do, take one of these walking tours. You won't regret it... and your taste buds will surely thank you! The tour is very efficient... no standing in line at the eateries waiting for the food. Rahim makes the arrangements in advance so that when the tour group walks up to the restaurant, Rahim just pops in and walks back out a half-minute later with the food samples on a tray, ready to be distrubuted to members of the tour. Super efficient! Thanks to Rahim for doing such a lovely job showing us this area of New York and introducing us to a lot of great eateries. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!

I have taken your other tours many times, but this was a first for the Central Village and Soho tour. Lots of great foods to sample--many that I would have never tried on my own. Our guide was very knowledgable and kept all of us together quite efficiently. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who likes to explore the foods and history of this area. Thanks for the great list of restaurants and stores. Sometime I hope you develop a Soho-only tour in more depth. Returning Seattle-ite.

Our guide, Rahim was very knowledgeable and answered ALL our questions. He put so much enthusiasm in the tour, one could not help but have fun!!! Mari, to whom I gifted this tour, is vegetarian and Rahim was very thoughtful in supplying her with meals to the best of his ability and Mari was very grateful. We thought Rahim was so good that Mari and I have booked the Sushi tour for Thursday, Sept 27th. I will also book the "original" Greenwich tour in the fall. Thanks for such a great time!
