We loved our third tour. My sisters and I come every year and take a food tour. Each one has been so marvelous, great food and love the history. Tour guides exceptional every time.

this tour had a lot more food than i think people were expecting, but it was all great. sometimes i got a little bored when the tour guide talked too much about architecture, i'd love more fun facts about the food!

Great food. Great group of people. Our tour guide, Susan was well informed and fun. Gave us a great overview as well as history and a few funny stories. Will do another tour with you.

I've been a few of these tours and have enjoyed them immensely. This last tour I was extremely disappointed in. The restaurants chosen we're OK but nothing spectacular. Also the tour guide seemed to be disinterested and at sometimes downright rude. At one point a friend of mine on the tour wanted to have two of the spinach and cheese and no chicken and the tour guide got extremely upset and took her plate out from under her in front of the whole entire group. She made a big deal out of really nothing as there was enough food for everyone to have more than one or two pieces. my group was stunned by the guides actions and almost left the tour at that moment. This particular guide is a poor representative of foodsofny, in fact as we were walking many of the locals were telling us she was a liar, it made us us very uncomfortable and wonder if she was telling us the truth about the central village. Overall it was all disappointing, from the food to the the guide.

Had a great time on the food tour.! Be prepared for a lot of very delicious, and diverse types of food. We learned so much about the area, the architecture, famous residents (past and present), and much more. Our guide, Susan was great - articulate, interesting, and very informative. We all agreed that we will definitely return to try more of the fare at the restaurants sampled during the tour.

Our tour guide Rahim (not sure on the spelling) was very entertaining. He definitely made the experience very enjoyable. The history of Central Village/Soho was definitely interesting. Even for a local, there were things I didn't know before I went on the tour. Now, for the food part of the tour. It was amazing. We stopped off at 6-7 different establishments. Each had a history. My group was exceptionally surprised at the portions that were served at each place. We had assumed it would be a tasting at each one. But we were pleasantly surprised at the amount of food we were actually served. We had three sit down meals: Italian, Indian and Carribean. We even ended the tour with dessert from a French bakery. Each one could have been a stand alone meal. It's almost too much food. The size of the group was perfect, about 15. The entire tour was just slightly over 3 hours. It is definitely the right amount of walking and stopping to take in the sights. We even got to relax a bit while walking through Washington Square Park. It was a great experience. I will definitely do another of these walking/food tours. It was well worth the price.

Great experience for myself and two daughters. We enjoyed the architectural and historical aspects as well as culinary adventure. Susan, our guide, was as pleasant as she was knowledgeable. The proprietors, chefs, staff were welcoming and foods were varied and expertly prepared. We lingered in the area visiting St. Anthony of Padua church and shopping in a few of the boutiques. Thank you for a well-organized, delightful tour. The food was exceptional at every stop and the commentary by Susan gave us insight into varied ambiance of the area.

This is the second Food Tour in New York (2 consecutive years) that I have been on and Raheem (sp) was the guide - both the food and our guide were fantastic. He is very knowledgeable about NYC - the history lesson included is exciting, not to mention the delicious food we tasted! He also recommended a dim sum restaurant that is included in another food tour (Chinatown) which we visited during our trip - excellent recommendation! Great job - and will see you next year!
