Gastronomic gander through Greenwich

A great little window into the area of Greenwich and a dip into Soho. Our guide Susanne balanced the tour delightfully with the history of the area, the restaurants and of course...the food. Well paced and informative we were also blessed with the weather to give us a great day in Manhattan. We only had time for one cocktail stop but we made up for it by scampering back afterwards to soak up a bit more of the area's bars and atmos before chowing down again at Monty's (one of the earlier tastings). Tasty

This was a great food and culture tour. The food selections were excellent! The guide was well versed in the history and culture of the SoHo Area and restaurants and the group was small enough to navigate the different venues. We would highly recommend it to visitors so they could become acquainted with the many wonderful offerings in the area. There was lots of food to sample and it was all delicious.

I thought the tour was awesome, the guide was very knowledgable and provided useful information on the area and foods. We had a new food addition to the tour and the owner wanted to know what we thought. It was a focaccia place and it was very good but it wasn't the wow that you may be looking for in your tour. It was a bit messy also. I am only saying this as you mentioned that you wanted the first tasting to be setting the standard and I enjoyed the other tastings more than the first. Can't wait to come back again and try your other tours. cheers Laura Biberdorf Victoria BC

Outstanding afternoon!

What a fantastic afternoon and tour. This was a great way to learn about the neighborhood and to sample some of the best, most interesting and unique cuisine's along the way. It was an easy walk - six to eight blocks at most. Rahim was a great tour guide and really took interest in the history of the area. If your kids eat off of the childrens menu then leave them home and take the tour yourself. However, if your kids eat real food then they will also enjoy this tour. Highly recommended and we will be going on others!

Best way to get to know some unique restraurants, known by locals, which is one reason the people visit NYC.

The guide had a very good knowledge about the area. The houses and the people who had lived there. We returned to one of the restaurants and had a wonderful and nice dinner our last evening in NY.

My wife and are in our early 50's. I grew up in NY but we do not live there now. The tour of the Village and its restaurants was just as informative and fun for me as it was for her. We would highly recommend this tour for everyone.

Enjoyable, but...

I had a good time and learning about the history of the place was fun. However, I thought this was a food tour first and foremost. Most of the "tastings" were packed into the last portion of tour and felt a little hurried. I would also enjoyed interacting with the local chefs more... we really walked into nearly empty restaurants, ate food, and left.
