Central Village/SoHo Food & Culture Tour

I enjoyed this so much more than I thought I would. I usually have ADD issues with walking groups and ditch out at some point, but this was totally engaging, even for my 16yr. old daughter with me, Our guide, Susan was interesting, personal, relevent and real... her personality, the tour itself, and the food kept our interest, and a special memory was created. Thank you Susan!!

Our guide was very knowledgeable of the history and responsive to our questions. Her presentation of the food served from the respective restaurants was entertaining and assured us that we would enjoy the offerings (which we four did). We will be utilizing the services again at Thanksgiving.

I just took my third walking tour with Foods of NY. This time I took my son and his girlfriend who live in NYC. It was as enjoyable as the first two. Even though I previously took the Central Village/Soho tour, it was a bit different as it was a Sunday and last time it was a Saturday. I would highly recommend these tours. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and make the experience so interesting and fun.

This was a fantastic tour. The tourguide was funny, knowledgeable and friendly. The food stops along the way were all delicious and even though we are locals, we were taken to places we would not have considered before but are now on our 'must go' list. I highly recommend this tour for locals and out-of-towners alike. You will see a part of New York you may not see otherwise, and have fun along the way.

I first saw the Foods of New York Tour while watching Gordon Ramsay's Hells Kitchen and made a note to try them out next time we visited NYC. From the on-time start, to the perfect timing of the food when we arrived at each featured restaurant, this tour is well thought out and well executed. Raheem is a wealth of knowledge and enthusiastically shared "inside" stories about the the area and the restaurants (not just the ones we stopped at). The tour was relaxed and fun, if a teeny bit lengthy. You are on your feet most of the time (about three hours), and you will slowly make your way around a four square block area, so don't be afraid that you will be doing a marathon. We really got a feel for the neighborhood and look forward to exploring it a little more on our next trip. We will also book another tour when we return to NYC and we will ask for Raheem!

We enjoyed the tour and the food. The recommendations for local eateries along the way was also appreciated. This is a great way to "experience" the local flavor of NYC. We will definitely try another tour soon!

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. I was not familiar with this area of Manhattan, so it was great to be exposed to it. I will definitely go back to enjoy it another time. The tour was a great mix of food and history of the area. Our guide was knowledgable and friendly. I want to go on another one of the tours in the near future.
