We thoroughly enjoyed both the guide and tour. I leaned much about the area and eateries. We particularily liked our tour guide, he made the tour very memorable. I just can't say enough about both and recommend it to all.

I highly recommend this tour as you will get to know the neighborhood alot better and actually know where to eat that isn't a tourist trap. I went back to at least two restaurants from the tour and had a full meal which was great. There is quite a bit of walking on the tour but anyone travelling in New York City realizes that you walk alot no matter what but they even provide you with a bottle of water. Our tour guide went to NYU and so you really get a 'feel' of his passion for this area of New York. Any 'foodie' would be crazy not to want to go on this tour. The best place had to be Monte's. The chef is amazing, and very approachable and humble. I would go on this tour again and again and even try the other tours that they have listed. I cannot recommend this place enough! Truly great!!

I have done the Greenwich village/Soho tour on my last trip to New York and I can say that it was one of the best tours I did in this city. We were 4 women with the tour guide, Rahim who was incredible by the way, and we really enjoyed ourselves. The guide talks about food, restaurants, history, cultures...he really did an awesome job of taking us into the village and talking about its history and the different cultures that cohabitate. You go to different restaurants and have a small bite to eat in most of them. You have to be willing to experiment different kinds of foods because you eat indian, jamaican, italian and so on. It is really worth the money you pay for. We did over 3 hours and had plenty to eat. If you have been to the city many times before and you think you have seen it all, this is another way of seeing the city...through its food!

Thank for a great tour. I enjoyed seeing so much variety in the village and Soho. Our tour guide was full of great info about the area. What a treat to see how smoked mozzarella is made and taste some of the best italian food. Can't wait to go back and explore again myself. I highly recommend this for anyone who likes food and a little history.

I have been to Greenwich Village many times and have been on other tours of Greenwich Village as well as other neighborhoods in New York City and other parts of the country. This tour rates as one of the best of all the tours I have been on. It was the best tour of the Central Village. It was fun and educational and I learned a lot. There is only a maximum of 8 people allowed on this tour during the winter months, which makes the tour very intimate. The tour guide, Rahim, was knowledgable and passionate. The cafes, restaurants and shops we visited were interesting and all the food was enjoyable.

I'm sorry I can't remember the lady's name - friendly, enthusiastic, wearing a baseball cap. The tour exceeded my expectations - the history and info given was really interesting, the food was very nice and Greenwich Village was wonderful in the sunshine. Thank you.

The tour guide was organized, knowledgeable and respectful of the local residents on the tour. The tour was well paced with a mixture of both historical facts, stories, information about the individual businesses and foods provided. The size of the group was perfect as it retained an intimate quality appropriate for the area. It was a highlight of my first trip to Manhattan and I have already recommended it to many fellow tourists.

This was my first trip to New York and only had 3 weeks to plan for it. I debated for quite a while on wether to take one of the food tours and which one would be best for me. I thought none stood out as a sure pick for me personally but the variety of food offered on this tour was what interested me the most. I went on one of the last days of my 7 day trip to New York. For the majority of the time there my husband was working and I was seeing the sights. I wished now I had taken this tour at the beginning of my trip so I could have gone back with him more than just one night. I also would have signed up for at least one more tour if I had known beforehand how much I would enjoy it. Then I could have shown HIM around for once. Our guide, Rahim was AMAZING. I could not believe the knowledge he possessed. He was versed in literature, music, culture, history, and of course culinary arts. I was astounded by how much he knew and shared with us. So many tours are either not informational enough or seem a bit canned. He was relaxed and personal with all of us. I was also a bit nervous about going by myself on the tour realizing that most people would be groups or couples and I wasn't sure of the age of most tourists. I was pleased to have a broad range of ages participating. I also met two sisters who were visiting the city together and we enjoyed one another's company during the tour. I loved the tour and can't wait to go back and see the others!
